I just bought this last week for my Boggle-addicted husband. He loves it. It's a great set. The timer/pencil and everything fit right in the bottom of the case. No game box included or necessary.

The game is full-sized.

Like the first reviewer stated, the lid doesn't stay snapped on like it should. Bummer. We just put a rubber band around it & all is well in our world.

For just over 1/3 the price of the regular version, I don't know why any Boggle buyer would buy the other set. This and a rubber band is all you need.

I love everything about Boggle To Go, except that fact that the cover, which is supposed to stay on (since it is the "to go" model) will not stay on securely. Other than that, I love that the pencils and paper store in the bottom.

We have been big boogle fans for some time. This version is nice because it is the regular sized dice in a compact version. Everything necessary (minus dictionary) to play the game packs conveniently away in the plastic travel box. The two halves of the box snap together securely. There has not been an issue with the cover coming free as mentioned in another review.

A terrific price on this travel Boggle game. We have loads of fun playing and feel that this a better value than buying the full size version for 3 times the price. Comes with timer, pencils and pad that fit nicely under the storage box. I've had no problems with the lid staying on.

There is one thing I would like to mention, which other reviewers seem to have misunderstood:
The lid has two settings. One way, it snaps on and you can carry it around while none of the parts fall out. If you rotate the lid by 90 degrees, and you insert the little tabs at the word "Play" (which can be quite hard to see) it will NOT snap on. This is to make it easy for you to take the lid off when you're playing.

This game is just cute, and it looks very durable. I received it as a gift and rest assured, I'll be taking this baby everywhere!

Great version of the classic Boggle game. I like this travel size better than the old original version because its easy to pack up and take it with you.

This is a fun game that anyone can enjoy. The compact size makes it easy to take on a trip or to a friend's house for a fun activity. I wish I had known about this "game" a long time ago!

Boggle is a great, classic game, so I won't go into details about Boggle generally.

This Boggle "To Go" version is the best version of Boggle available, much better than the widely-available "Twist It, Shake It, Set It" Boggle whose cubes' printed letters reportedly wear off quickly, cubes get stuck often, cubes have small letters that are more diffucult to see, and permanent clear lid gets scratched and blurry after repeated plays.

First, this is a full-sized version, with large dice-sized cubes that are easy on the eyes.

Second, even though it's full sized, this game is extremely compact, with a built-in compartment holding the instructions, pads, pencils, and timer, saving valuable shelf space. (There's room in the compartment to add a simple pencil sharpener, too).

Third, it's not only compact, but also portable, thanks to a locking lid that holds all the letter cubes. No fragile cardboard box to worry about, just throw it in your car/luggage to take on a road trip, park, camping, a relative/friend's house, or any other traveling. (If you read some reviews stating that the lid comes off too easily, those reviewers are probably not attaching the lid in the "lock" position after completing play, as the molded-in label on the case indicates, and instead are erroneously using the "play" position when transporting the game).

Fourth, the game lid comes off so you get a clear look directly at the cubes' letters during game play. (There's even a "play" lid position so the lid doesn't lock on and comes off easily after shaking cubes between rounds).

Fifth, this game features the classic, reliable, and silent sand timer that most Boggle games have come with. No mechanical parts to wear out.

Since this "To Go" version of Boggle is compact, durable, full-sized, and portable, it's the best version around. If you want Boggle, get this version!

So, if you enjoy Boggle, you will enjoy this. It is a smaller version, thus the "to go" tag. The only problem I have is the plastic top won't stay on when you are not playing. So, pieces could get lost if you are not super careful. For the price, a great travel game. Even with a flimsy top, I would buy it again.

If you have never played this game, you are missing out on great family/friend fun. Fast paced, simple to learn and play, it will keep you entertained for hours. There are so many possibilities in every shake, it will amaze you when your opponent sees words you completely missed. Have Fun!!!
