I bought this game for my daughter because she always wanted us to play Hangman in restaurants while waiting to be served. Sometimes, I preferred adult conversation. Giving her this hand held, single player game gave me this option. But, I found myself asking for "my turn" to play. There are a variety of ways to play. All are fun.

The game had different levels, but there wasn't much difference. Some of the words were very easy to figure out at first. It didn't have much of a word selection so after you played that caterogrie a few times, you knew what the word was going to be by the number of letters it had. There are about five catergories you can choose from. Like farm animals. The game got boring after about 5 minutes with playing with it.

I gave this hangman game last Christmas to my fifth grade daughter (a great stocking gift) and nearly a year later she's still playing with it and enjoying it. A terrific function of the game for me is that the user can *mute* the sound while playing it.

I purchased this for my kids trip to Texas. We have used them prior to them going and the kids enjoy the game. For an adult it is somewhat easy, even on the 3rd level and 7 letters. But ofcourse it is for kids. I think it is good for the kids for a change they are trying to spell instead of your normal video games!

I purchased this for myself -- an adult -- for a cross-country flight. Used it about six times, and realized that one important reason for why I love Hangman is the interaction I get playing with it with my son. However, this does deliver what you'd expect, and I think younger people would enjoy it under the right circumstances (being alone, bored, on a trip, waiting for the doctor, etc.).

THIS IS A FUN TOY. HANGMAN IS A GREAT GAME ANYWAY AND THIS ELECTRONIC VERSION, COMPLETE WITH VISUALS OF THE HANGMAN AND THE EXTRACTION OF HIS VARIOUS LIMBS, IS FUNNY AND ENJOYABLE. A VERY ENTERTAINING TOY.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER, HAS OVER 100,000 WORDS. YOU CAN SELECT YOUR CATIGORY AND HOW MANY LETTERS. EACH TIME YOU GET THE WORD RIGHT YOU GET POINTS, AND THEY GET HIGHER AND HIGHER, AND IF U GET IT WRONG IT GETS LOWER. ...

I am in general one that loves the game Hangman. This electronic, handheld version made that much easier for me for several reasons. First of all, if you don't have anyone else to play with (for instance, your family doesn't like hangman as much as you do, like me), then you are all set, because you can play this all by yourself. I also like the fact that there are several categories, and THEN you can choose how long you want the word to be.
I like this game because of my love for Hangman/words.
I really don't have a strong feeling about its educational value, however it does teach some things.
I have so far not broken mine, and I've had it for a while now.
Overall, I think this version of Hangman is an absolute Must Have.

The excitement of a handheld for the kids, the wholesomeness I look for.

This is an okay game, though it sometimes gets a little boring. This game can teach kids different words. There are 8 categories to choose from, plus you can choose how many letters you want in the game. You get 11 guesses to guess what word they are giving you.
