Once put together...It falls apart easily.the 3 pc. The Blue Post, Hoop, and backboard thing. So hard to keep together. My 2 year old keeps bringing me the pieces....and I wish the mesh net was a little longer for the little ones to enjoy. I was pretty suprised to see how short they were, but then again...I didn't look at the pic that good.

I have to disagree with the other reviews. I have a 2 year old boy who is rather hard on stuff and this is holding up well. It is super easy to get on and off the door so I can quickly thow it in the closet, but yet it is weighted so that it stays in place while playing. It does not withstand kids hanging on it but what would you expect from a plastic toy. Again, my kids are having fun with it and it is the perfect size for the 2/3 yr old who could not otherwise reach a toy hoop. It was worth the money and lots of fun! Also a great way to keep kids active during the winter months.

I just opened the box, and I was expecting to setup the basketball pole with the base. Unfortunately, that was not happening. It turned out this item was for the basketball ring installed on the door knob :( Unbelievable! The cute ball was included to be played with the very wide basketball ring. For the 3-year-old baby, this was not much fun, since it was easy to put the ball in. Overall, eventhough I bought this for less than 6 dollar when it was on sale on amazon, I would not recommend this item to anyone. Better buy something else.

I was so excited when I saw this toy because it seemed like such a great concept. But it truly is a piece of junk. First of all, whoever decided to include a soft foam ball with it probably didn't have kids. My son had little foam pieces torn off of it within minutes. Like the other reviewer said, the thing constantly falls apart. And the picture is nothing like the way it hangs on the doorknob. They should have shown it leaning forward and tilted to the side because that's what it really looks like. And it's not like you can secure it in place because you need your door. Great idea though, hopefully they can improve it.

I have two little boys 3 & 1. Though a door knob is a bit tall for the 1 year old he is still able to use it and both kids love it. It is probably the most played with toy in our house. It's made really well. Much better then the nerf ones and it's portable. I got it on clearance somewhere else for $8. It was well worth it.

I got this for my 3 yr old when we moved. We are military so we move, a lot. We always have to hang on to some items to entertain the kids. Our stuff/their toys is usually packed up for about 2-4 months depending on our assignment and location and time it takes for stuff to get to next location. So, I am always looking for things that are entertaining yet compact. This item is kinda large about 2 feet tall, but the hoop comes off and then you can lay it flat into a suitcase. The ball is about the size of a large head of lettuce. It hangs on the door so no matter where you are if there is a door with a handle you should be good. Keeping that in mind, if you do not have a door or something handle like to put it on it will not go on it.

I bought this for a Christmas present and heard it was a GREAT gift that was loved by the children I bought it for.

My son received this for his second birthday. He loved to throw balls, but I wasn't sure about his aim for a hoop. We snapped this thing together in under a minute and he had a blast throwing the ball toward the hoop (which easily hangs on any standard door knob). Of course, he was probably having more fun watching his parents try and make fancy shots! The hoop is durable--- he has tried to hang on it and pull it of the door knob dozens of times! Now, he's almost 3 and he and his 20 month old sister don't play with it as often unless we start their interest in it by playing!

I bought this for my 4 year old for christmas .It is a fun toy but falls off the door knob quite a bit . My son has lost interest in it already but great concept

We've had this toy for several months now, and when I saw the discounted price ($6.99) over Christmas, I bought another for a Christmas gift. My "just turned" 5yo keeps this in his room on his closet door, and he and his older brother play with it at least a couple of times a week. It works perfectly for the play in which it was designed and they have loads of fun with it. The foam ball is not as durable as some others, but if your house is like mine, you have other balls that will work just as well... ;) The $6.99 price was a "steal" but I probably wouldn't pay the $16+ it is going for today...
