5.0 out of 5 stars This is a really nice version of Jenga. February 18, 2007

Both of my 5 year old boys got a Jenga game for Christmas this past year. One got this set and the other got the set that just comes in a box. This is definitely way better because the blocks can be put away nicely in this canister. The box for the other one is flimsy & we've taped it repeatedly already.

As for the game, it's fun & really easy to learn. All of us like it. Every family should have this. None of us are experts yet, but it doesn't matter. The boys like it just as well when the whole tower falls down.

Definitely a good gift for ages 5+. ALL ages would enjoy this.

1.0 out of 5 stars Flimsy stacking tower February 27, 2010
Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
Jenga is a great game but this version ruins it. Instead of the typical plastic sleeve used for stacking the Jenga blocks at the start of the game, this version comes with a flimsy laminated piece of paper instead. This makes it extremely difficult and frustrating to create a straight tower at the beginning of the game. I would recommend purchasing the classic version instead.

4.0 out of 5 stars good storage container in this version March 15, 2008

The main thing that differentiates this version from other past versions is that the large bin allows for quick "put away". Other older versions required you to stack them on the V plastic before storing. This one allows you to put them away quickly for those who don't have patience after the game.

4.0 out of 5 stars Still a classic January 13, 2009

We've been very pleased with Jenga. It's a lot of fun and the kids enjoy playing it.

The only reason I gave it four stars is that the stacking tool that helps you to quickly set up Jenga was made out of cardboard. The older sets had one that was made out of rigid plastic. It got ruined the first day and ended up in the recycling bin. This had made Jenga slower to set up.

2.0 out of 5 stars Could you possibly come up with worse packaging? April 24, 2010
Jenga is a great game, but the packaging of this version of the game is awful. Not only is it much bulkier than it needs to be, but the stacking sleeve is so bad I might as well say it doesn't have one. Get a different version of the game if you can.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic value! October 20, 2009

Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
The blocks are well constructed, durable, and each block has just slightly different measurements from the others to add a little challenge to the game.

Great value, fun to play, and it isn't that hideous mahogany color that new sets come in.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun for the entire family March 6, 2011

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most fun. Jenga is a simple game, but it can really bring a family together. This is not like a video game which can be played in solitude. This is a team game, a family game.

I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy an evening of good wholesome family entertainment. The only think is to make sure you don't lose any of the blocks, as that can make the game less fun the next time around.
