I bought this so that I could listen to my little blue iPod Shuffle while at my desk. I read alot of reviews and decided to give this guy a shot. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Pros:cute, fairly inexpensive, good sound quality, and small.

Cons:motors for feet and head are noisy (not a major problem)

For $30 its a good deal for a cute speaker.

After 2 months my iDog started skipping while playing my songs. (Yes I tested the ipod and speakers throughly.) I am very disappointed.

The iDog Amp'd is a fun little music player with surprisingly good sound. My son wanted it for his birthday and I thought it would be another junky MP3 player with cruddy sound. Of course, this toy is in no way educational, but it is fun and entertaining. The tail, which is used to adjust volume seems pretty weak...like it could very easily break off at any time. Overall, I'd say the iDog Amp'd is a good value at its price.

HI I bought two of these iDogs for my two girls for Christmas. I bought matching iPods green dog green iPod ect.
My girls are 7 and 9 and do not have alot of experience with iPods the dogs made their gifts special and more fun. They use the dogs alot and like them. The battery seems to last a good amount of time and they are somewhat intractive. They arrive with batterys so when they are opened up they work right away and they are cute.

Fun little speaker for mp3 players *not exclusive to IPOD* which is GRRRRR EAT! Cutest little speaker and my 6 year old daughter loves how he dances! I got her the doggie purse to take him everywhere! My 13 month old daughter is fascinated by the lights and the dancing puppy. My 17 year old daughter thinks it's cute cute cute! We all love it! Only downside is my concern on it's durability. We haven't had it long so it may be just fine, however it is plastic. We shall see!

I got this for my 14 yr. old son for Christmas. He wanted a speaker for his ipod...and didn't say what kind. He really likes this one, and his brother and sister do also. It is cute but not too cute for a teenage boy.
Works great and isn't so loud that we have to holler up the stairs to turn it down.

I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas gift, and at first she used it all the time, but not so much anymore after a few months. The parts that move (tail, legs, and head) became all finicky and the sound quality had a lot of static, maybe its just this model. Also, it doesn't turn off on its own so if not turned off after use, the battery life will drain quickly. Overall, it is ok of an product though.

My son got this for his 6th birthday and loves it. I really wasn't sure if it would get used but he plays with it all the time with his MP3 player. His 5 year old sister got one too even though she doesn't use it with an mp3. They carry them all over the house. They are played with way more then anything else they got for Christmas. Very durable so far. His is 5 months old now and still working. Much better toy than a Zhu Zhu pet that broke within 24 houra

They have had a lot of fun with this. Not great for sound, but good enough for a 10 and 8 year old who want to see the dog light up and dance to their music.

Santa brought our new puppy, "Bowser",to our 8 year old boy this Christmas 2007. He thought it was great. It hooks up to his new mp3 player. We are always telling our 3 year old boy to touch him gently. The tail, ears, and tapping foot on him seem a bit fragile if messed with too much. So far, so good. I love that he responds to being "petted." We want a real puppy, but live in too small of an apartment! We are enjoying him. Love the cute green spots, and all the mood changes. We are still a little confused, we hope he is happy enough with us. I, the Mommy, admit I play with him the most. LOL!

This little dog was a HUGE hit in our home. It takes on a life of its own. He's run just about anything through it and the little dog taps his foot and barks. NOTE: it is quick to distort loud volumes... so keep it down.
