Our son received video now xp as a gift, and it has kept him happy all weekend. He loves that he'll be able to take it in the car for long (or short) trips. I love that it will help our kids to not fight in the backseat. There are lots of possible PVDs we purchase for the future. A much better alternative than our laptop or renting a DVD player for car or airplane trips. We're thrilled!

yes for those of you who what to know is the videonow xp good. yes the video now xp is the best toy of 2005. it is so much fun to get all the disk there is like a 100 of disk to get. and like ever week there coming out with more. go to videonow.com to see all of tham. and get this they are comeing out with games for your video now xp. and you can watch videonow black and white in your new video now xp. and you can watch videonnow color in your new videonow xp. it is such a good buy. just get it. there is so much shows. cartoons. music videos. movies. games. you name it. videonow color was named best toy of 2004. but this year videonow xp is going to be best toy of 2005. videonow rules. if you dont have one. get it get it get it.

Are you a child who has always wanted a portable video player? Well I am! And thanks to the XP, I can take my fave shows almost anywhere!

I've had no problems with it so far, its way better than the other VideoNow Colour (Color.) It keeps you entertained when there's nothing on TV, you can watch many cartoons such as SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents!

Its also backwards compatible, which means it can play discs from previous VideoNows!

videonow xp is just so much fun. i love comeing home from school turning it on. wen i am in the car it is such a blast. and games are way cool. i am going to give videonow xp a big 5 stars. because i like it.

My 6-year old son received the VideoNow XP for his 6th birthday from my sister. She also bought him the Scooby Doo interactive movie. He enjoys the movie, but gets frustrated with getting past each point. Overall he enjoys his new toy.
My frustration, however, is that I have looked online for more videos, and it shows them, but says they are currently unavailable. That I have seen for the past few weeks. Target has a very limited number of the PVD's and most I don't feel are appropriate for my six year old ie, the older kid shows. I would like to see more educational interactive movies, because after getting through the Scooby show, I think my son has become bored with it..............

I love it! it's really light weight and portble. The batteries do go dead without the charger and the PVDs should have more then 30 minutes-60minutes. I like this video now alot. Calling it a toy is a little far fetched but it's wonderful. I hope you buy it!

This is great.. got one for both the boys.. they love them... Only problem is they dont understand teh diference between the regular DVD and teh Video now ones...

Oh well they will learn quick...

My kids wanted this for Christmas so I got them one. It played good, but buying the movies that you could only watch in this machine was a money waster. You can get a dvd player that you can watch any movie on and you would be better off.
