I bought this for a friend who is a big Spiderman fan as well as ipod owner. It ended up being more fun than I bargained. I thought it would simply play music from the ipod. You have to program it and it takes on a personality based on the music you "feed" it. It lights and dances when it's pleased and even whines if it's neglected. It's fun and, dare I say it, cute.

I bought this as a companion to the Ipod Shuffle that I gave to my seven-year old for Christmas. It is very cool! I was amazed at how interactive it is. Even when it is not playing music, it barks/whines and seeks attention. The downside is that the cord that connects it to the Ipod is very temperamental and the slightest movement of it will break the connection. Also, it eats through the batteries very quickly and there is no AC/DC adaptor. I recommend buying rechargable batteries to use with it.

I bought this for my son's birthday. He's been wanting on Idog for ever. The price was right this year so I went for it. He loves it. It is fun to play with and the sound is good. I think it's funny that there are so many rules for caring for the Idog. At first I was apprehensive about my son keeping up with the dogs "emotions" but then I came back to my senses realizing it's just an electronic toy, not a real dog. I'd reccommend this product for kids. An adult may want a better sound quality.

We have so much fun with Spidey Dog!

We don't even connect our MP3 player to him. Instead, we put him on the dashboard of the car and he rides around with us. It is so much fun because whether the stereo is on or off, he moves and the lights flash, and he makes little dog sounds. It's entertaining for all of us, but especially handy for keeping the attention of the little ones.

It's especially funny when he's quiet for awhile and we forget he's there....then out of nowhere there's a little growl or he puts his head in that quizzical dog position and cracks us up!

btw, we've had him for over 3 years now, and no problems at all! Worth every penny. Also, we gave one as a gift to a huge Spiderman fan, and it was a huge hit.

This is a great toy for any age. It has made a great gift for even an adult. I would recommend it to any music lover.

What the hell? That is all i can say about this toy. The speaker function isn't very loud. It is not as big in person as it appears to be here. It also goes through batteries quickly.

My granddaughter loved it! It has great sound. It was just the perfect gift for her. She loves Spiderman and Ipods so I recommend this product.

Combine a dog, Spiderman and music, and what do you get? This dude. He bop to the music we play and he honestly couldn't look any cooler. Very happy with purchase.

Speaker not that great. Just got it for fun for my son. He seems to enjoy it. His aunt bought him a clock radio for his ipod and he uses that more for speaker use.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son and he LOVES it. He is 9 and thinks this I-dog is so cool. It attends to it daily.
