I bought this Power Tour Amp to go with the guitar thinking it would be loud. The amp in my opion is really not necessary its more for looks that anything else yeah it lights up but again just for the effects its ok. It really doesn't crank up much louder that the guitar by itself.

The Hasboro amplifier coupled with the guitar made a perfect combo for a 5 year old boy. I must say we all have fun with it. The amplifier has some draw backs but for the price I really can't complain. My first issue is it requires batteries to work. My kids are getting better about remembering to turn things off so I hope we won't be changing batteries often. The other issue isn't a problem just could be a better design it doesn't have a spot for a microphone to plug in. We did try to play music through a MP3 player but you don't want to do that for very long because for sure the batteries will run down.

We bought this guitar and amp for Christmas for our 6 yr old son and now the whole family plays it! Easy and very realstic! The amp works well with any MP3 player and we were surprised with the sound-for such a small item the sound out of the speakers sounds great. Would recommend for any age! Just shop around for the price. Very happy with product!

My son asked for the Power Tour Guitar and Amp for Christmas. He is 9 and has some musical abilities. I thought this would be a stupid gift, but he is actually playing with it constantly. He plays Wild Thing perfectly and is learning the next song. The amp is fun because it makes him feel grown-up. I would recommend both the guitar and the amp. My son's friend went and bought one after he played with my son's guitar and amp.

We were so excited when the Hasbro Power Tour Amp arrived. We were anxious for our granddaughter to try it out with her new microphone and stand. Sadly though, the microphone did not work with the amp. The reason we purchased it was because it stated on Amazon that "most purchased this along with microphone." It states on the side of the box that it works with your MP3 player, guitar and many other pieces. Well, it doesn't work with a microphone so don't purchase it for this purpose. We were very happy with the quality and it would have been great had we been able to use both together. Had to return it and it cost us $15 to return and the item was only $17. Will think twice before I order on-line again.

This was a great buy for our 4 year old son but the guitar was plenty loud without the amp.

I purchased the Power Tour guitar and the amp to go with it. I am glad I did, the amp is great with the guitar and makes it much easier to hear, plus you can plug your MP3 player into it and it doubles as a speaker. I am very happy with my purchase.

We have the guitar that goes with this, but honestly, my 7 year old son uses the amp with his iPod the most. It isnt especially loud, but thats fine by me. He hasnt complained, so I'm happy with it.

It is a big improvement over just the guitar. Definately worth it.The cord should have been longer. Also a good little music speaker when you use it for like a digital voice recorder or other things like an mp3 player. Can get descently loud and sound quality is ok for that use. We had ordered 2 of them, one for us and my girlfriends nephew. The first 2 were stolen off my porch but amazon was great and sent out 2 more no problem. Recomended!!

I got this for my 8 year old sons birthday and he loves it!We bought the guitar also and my sons MP3 player fits in there as well.We get concerts all the time!I would higly recommend this amp!
