I gave this to my 10-year-old daughter for Christmas and she *loves* it. I think it was her favorite Christmas gift! The dog expresses different moods based on the color pattern displayed on its face. It even barks and sniffs when you rub its face! For an electronic toy, I have to admit that it's pretty cute. It also has good sound.

I really like the I dog Amp'd it's great to see him tapping and moving his head to the music. It's not really in time with the music as the ad says but its pretty close and its still cool to see him try.

The sound quality is pretty good too although the motor for the movement can be a little loud, but not so much as to distract from the overall fun and coolness of this little toy

I picked one of these up about the same time I purchased my first MP3 player after I quickly realized there was no built in speaker. It was a cute little distraction to put on the counter while I was doing dishes so I could still enjoy my music but keep my ears "free" to hear my little one and be aware of the mischief he was getting into.

That same little one shortly thereafter discovered my cute little I-Dog and it has since belonged to him. ;) He has always been a huge dog-lover and is crazy about music as well, so what a perfect pair! My little guy just turned 4 and he is still in love with *his* puppy. I have since gotten a bit more creative and have given him my old MP3 player, loaded up with lots of stories and favorite kids music. I even recorded myself reading some of his favorite books. He will sit and play with it for hours and hours on end.

Initially I had concerns about him breaking it, but surprisingly, 2 years later it is still working as new and is no worse for wear. It is much more durable that it first appears with all the moving parts. It has been dropped, dragged, nearly dropped out the car window, you name it. This puppy has been taken for quite the ride!

He never got much into the "moods" of the I-Dog but he loves all the adorable puppy sound effects and loves to pet his "face" to get a reaction. A super cute, durable, functional and fairly open-ended toy when paired with a creative parent and an MP3 player. Good stuff!!
