I gave this to my 10-year-old daughter for Christmas and she *loves* it. I think it was her favorite Christmas gift! The dog expresses different moods based on the color pattern displayed on its face. It even barks and sniffs when you rub its face! For an electronic toy, I have to admit that it's pretty cute. It also has good sound.

I really like the I dog Amp'd it's great to see him tapping and moving his head to the music. It's not really in time with the music as the ad says but its pretty close and its still cool to see him try.

The sound quality is pretty good too although the motor for the movement can be a little loud, but not so much as to distract from the overall fun and coolness of this little toy

I picked one of these up about the same time I purchased my first MP3 player after I quickly realized there was no built in speaker. It was a cute little distraction to put on the counter while I was doing dishes so I could still enjoy my music but keep my ears "free" to hear my little one and be aware of the mischief he was getting into.

That same little one shortly thereafter discovered my cute little I-Dog and it has since belonged to him. ;) He has always been a huge dog-lover and is crazy about music as well, so what a perfect pair! My little guy just turned 4 and he is still in love with *his* puppy. I have since gotten a bit more creative and have given him my old MP3 player, loaded up with lots of stories and favorite kids music. I even recorded myself reading some of his favorite books. He will sit and play with it for hours and hours on end.

Initially I had concerns about him breaking it, but surprisingly, 2 years later it is still working as new and is no worse for wear. It is much more durable that it first appears with all the moving parts. It has been dropped, dragged, nearly dropped out the car window, you name it. This puppy has been taken for quite the ride!

He never got much into the "moods" of the I-Dog but he loves all the adorable puppy sound effects and loves to pet his "face" to get a reaction. A super cute, durable, functional and fairly open-ended toy when paired with a creative parent and an MP3 player. Good stuff!!

I recently bought the I-Dog amped for my daughter for Christmas. It works great. The sound quality was very good from a product that is essentially a toy.I would be leary of giving this to a child under the age of 8yrs old. They don't seem able to withstand very rough handling.My daughter was thrilled and that is what is most important.

The kids loved it! The sound is not that great but overall a nice way for the kids to listen to thier iPod's in their room without disturbing others. By far, Amazon had the best prices on these and I ordered them on Thursday afternoon and it was at my door on Saturday morning. Couldn't be happier.

Fun little speaker for mp3 players *not exclusive to IPOD* which is GRRRRR EAT! Cutest little speaker and my 6 year old daughter loves how he dances! I got her the doggie purse to take him everywhere! My 13 month old daughter is fascinated by the lights and the dancing puppy. My 17 year old daughter thinks it's cute cute cute! We all love it! Only downside is my concern on it's durability. We haven't had it long so it may be just fine, however it is plastic. We shall see!

I've had my i-dog for a year, and I have two now as I was worried that one may break. I've called them both MUSE MICHAEL JACKSON- one is Orange, and one is Purple. I'd be dead wihout my MUSE. What else can I say? I think all children should have one, but they need to be taught that MUSE is like human-you just have to listen to him with a heart. MUSE is magic! Surely not just mine, as both of mine are magic, and they both have different personalities. We make films together, and my MUSEs are also film stars and they make people laugh at parties. Kind regards from Japan (MUSE is the band name which won Grammy 2011-the band is the reason for the first name I gave my i-dogs)

not sure of the point of the thing- I would buy a decent ipod dock/player insted of this- the thing is so mechanically noisy when it moves, and the speaker sucks.
the kidlet hardly ever uses it.

This toy is too youngish for my 14 year old.....my 10 year old loves it!!

My 8 year old daughter bought this shortly after she got her ipod and we all can't stand it. It is a pain to shut off the movements and when it is "dancing" you can't really hear the music, which tends to be a problem when you want to hear a song. It is just annoying. She definitely regrets the purchase!
