GOOD
-change in to 3 mode.
-will built (hard to be broken)
-looks really good in race car mode.
-the toy is big (about 1ft long in scale.
-lots of details.
-cool effects when insert power key.
BAD
-transformation takes long time, got to have the meun with you when you are transforing Megatron; other wise you will be lost.
-some parts of transformation is kinda confusing. (take it while to figure out).
-there are to much bright colors (making it looked uninteresting, unlike optimus Prime just 4 different colors).

so, overall i love this toy and if you are a transformers fan then you got to have it for your collection. Thanks for reading.

Megatron reigns supreme in this Cybertron Leader version!Megatron has awesome features along with being a triple changer that includes a vehicle mode and jet mode. The detail on this bad boy all around is outstanding. The vehicle mode has hidden power thrusters and a missile rack with firing projectiles while having intricate detail from front to back. The jet mode is just as awesome with the same attention to detail. Both modes are very solid with a secure build.Robot mode is just as solid with great articulation in the legs, arms, body, and one kick-ass head piece.Driven by a nearly insane lust for power,Megatron managed not only to survive the catastrophic implosion of Unicron, but also absorbed much of his power. This would explain the variety of colors on the paint job which is very cool and unique.Megatron featureas two weapons that include a spinning hand cannon and Unicron power claws that snap out for slicing and dicing up some autobots. There is also electronic lights and sounds for a realistic effect.Megatron comes with the decepticon leader cyber planet key that unlocks the features which is very cool looking in itself. The poseability is outstanding with great stability for battle poses or displaying where you please. The durability is excellent as well with secure joints to handle any challenge that comes along. The transformation level is advanced meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help some in the process.Megatron can be challenging for the younger ages, but with some practice is well worth the time to learn.Bottom line Cybertron Leader Megatron is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 transformer all fans will enjoy.I highly recommend Cybertron Megatron to all transformer fans and collectors alike.Megatron Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but Energon Megs was better, August 18, 2005

It's a good, impressive-looking mold, though to me it doesn't really look like a Megatron. The overall head design isn't bad, but the horns look silly IMO. Fortunately they can be rotated back (and have to be as part of the transformation). The weapons are less impressive than on the recent versions. He has what looks like a blow-dryer, a step down from the arm-mounted tank of the Energon incarnation, and a blade weapon, which does look impressive attached to his arm. Robot mode is a bit difficult to pose, I've found - he doesn't want to stand up straight. You have to make him slouch a little to balance out the "wings".
Car mode is the best of the three modes. It's impressive looking, stable, and looks a bit like Beast Machines Mirage after a major upgrade. Jet mode is an afterthought, but doesn't look too bad. You need a bit of imagination to see this thing flying, but that's nothing new for TF jet modes.
Finally, the Cyber Key gimmicks - He has a PK gimmick on each wing, which release the two weapons. The main gimmick is the key activates a pair of thrusters on his back. This gimmick works in all modes, and is quite nice. The key causes the thrusters to deploy (and turbines within to spin for a moment, a nice touch), and a jet sound plays for several seconds. The key can by stored in this central slot, and looks like an extra bit of armor there.
All-in-all, a very good figure. Energon Megs retains command of my Decepticons, though.

When I saw Megatron I wondered if I should wait for Galvatron but I decided that He was on sale so I might as well get him.
I was very surprised on how cool and big he was I meen in the box he looked small. He was extremely articulated. He the best Megatron to date.

This is as the title says it. I loved him in the episode "Cybertron" (Where we first see Primus). I like it when he says "Look at yourself, your half dead already. I'll suppy the other half". Of his 2 vehicle modes I like jet mode the best. I was going to get Galvatron too, but not anymore. His key gimmicks are sweet just like in the show. I am trying to buy the whole boxset of Transformers Cybertron DVD's, but I'll just have to wait. Overall highly recomended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Back with a vengenance!, July 10, 2005

Holy cow! A Megatron figure almost the size of Unicron! And one of the most complicated to boot. Not wanting to break this monster, it took some time to figure out the instructions the first time but after a couple more times it's second nature. Might be frustrating for younger children, though (8 and under). Highly poseable like a lot of these Cybertron figures are. Even bigger than the Optimus Prime figure. TWO hidden weapons in robot mode. Hand crank on the rifle actually spins the barrel for you for added play value. Most of the spikes are soft rubber to prevent injury. Large enough that the light piping for the eyes actually works (and looks very eerie). Jet mode is not much to look at, but the dragster mode resembles the Batmobile on steroids. All in all, an awesome, menacing Megatron for a new generation.

Pros: more challenging transformation; three transformation modes; cool design of each mode; light piping in eyes adds intimidating effect; creative weapons storage

Pros or Cons: color scheme is cool, but not as scary as one might expect; robot mode can be difficult to stand; robot and vehicle modes larger than those of Optimus Prime

Cons: jet mode's wings too small to facilitate flight; hands not articulated

After 4 years, my son still loves to play with this.
He's mastered the transformation - I have not.
I still marvel at the ingenuity of the designers of these toys.
Highly Recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not a Gun but still Cool, October 18, 2005
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars

Nothing will ever beat the original Megatron in his hand gun form but I guess in our politically correct world we will never see that again. Still the new Megatron does harken back to the glory days of the original transformers as he is a triple changer that goes from robot, to a vaguely Indy-looking race car, to attack Jet. Electronic lights and sounds add to Megatron's mystique. I love the fact that the character has so many hidden features that can be unlocked with the planet key including spinning cannon and power thrusters. This is one great figure that looks good in any mode.

My only complaint is with the color scheme. With blue, aqua, orange, white, pink, two shades of gray...it's just way too busy looking, and too cherry looking as well. I would have stuck to just three colors and make him look a bit more menacing. Still a great figure.
