5.0 out of 5 stars Scorponok is SHARPEST Deluxe TF Movie Figure Yet!
The Deluxe Class Scorponok is simply the SHARPEST looking (at least in my opinion) figure to hit the shelves in this series -- though Barricade with his "To Punish and Enslave" motto runs a close second in my collection. 2.0 out of 5 stars It's not a favorite
I bought this for my grandson's 7th birthday. It was much smaller than I thought it would be, and my grandson seemed a bit disappointed, as well. He was able to transform it easily enough. I have only seen him play with it twice, maybe three times and it does not always work properly, according to him. He plays with his other transformers much more often.

The Deluxe Class Scorponok is simply the SHARPEST looking (at least in my opinion) figure to hit the shelves in this series -- though Barricade with his "To Punish and Enslave" motto runs a close second in my collection. While he can be combined and "carried into battle" by the Voyager Class Blackout for the younger Transformer Movie fan set, together they make a great desk display (just ask the guys I work with)! True, there is not much of a transformation from scorpion to robot-mode, but the attention to detail and his spinning claws quickly overcame that fact. Can't wait for 7.4.7!

5.0 out of 5 stars ravage 24/7, July 30, 2011

Scorponok is one scorpion that will put the fear in any autobot around! This bad boy has outstanding detail all around in robot and scorpion mode.Scorponok has a very realistic tail and pincers with awesome articulated legs and intricate gears in the main body section. The head piece is one of the best detailed of any deluxe versions around as well.Scorponok has the feature of drilling pincers when you roll him in scorpion mode while having a sweet spring loaded stinger attack for the final touch to finish off any enemy with ease. The poseability is awesome with great stability in robot mode and having a very realistic scorpion mode. The durability is excellent as well with Scorponok being very solid all around in either mode. The transformation level is advanced meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is minor difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger they should be able to handle the process with ease.Honestly Scorponok is one of the easier transformers out there.Scorponok is very versatile for all ages to be able to handle.Bottom line Scorponok is a high quality,well-made,10 out of 10 transformer all fans will enjoy.I highly recommend Scorponok to all transformer fans and collectors alike.Scorponok Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun(Weird), October 26, 2009
A Kid's Review

He is the most easily transformable. He is weird but he looks pretty fun. Would've bought the other one with the bendy claws but couldn't find him. He is pretty limited to the weak spring attack and the spinning claws and thats it but he's cool. He doesn't quite fit in anywhere and the robot thing is a piece of crap. I cannot stand it that well. Haven't tried making it really dig into sand or dirt or whatever. Somebody test it and report back to us...

5.0 out of 5 stars Scorponok: The Most Durable Unless Found By A Dog, August 4, 2009
A Kid's Review
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Transformers Movie Deluxe Scorponok (Toy)
Scorponok is a great toy. You can open his claws if you line up the blades of his pincers with the notches in the sides you can open up the claw. I was pretty disappointed with his robot mode but scorpion mode makes up for it and pays EXTRA! If you push down on him in scorpion mode and roll him along on a WOODEN OR METAL surface his pincers will rotate rapidly. I like how it's near impossible to lose the stinger since it's attached to him and is barricaded at either end. He looks cool in scorpion mode, so, most of the time, I leave him in soorpion mode. What I was saying about durable unless found by a dog meant that somehow my dog got into my room and did some damage to him. I am VERY impressed by the complicated gearing of this figure. If you own Voyager Class Blackout, you can hook Scorponok onto him when Blackout's in Pave-Low Helicopter mode and Scorponok's in scorpion mode. If you have a chance to pick up this figure, DO!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Scorpion Mode. Not So Great Robot Mode, March 27, 2009
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars

Hasbro had to make a robot mode for him because he was always in scorpion mode through the entire film. If you don't like the robot mode follow these steps to change him into a G1-ish base mode I made up once:
*Fold down the head (if you were changing him to robot mode).
*Fold the arms all the way up to pose as "towers".
*Fold the legs straight out.
*Rotate the legs so the claws are at the front.
*Stretch the tail all the way up
and behold you a have a G1 looking base mode. I display him like that more than robot mode.
