This is just what my grandchild wanted for Christmas, and my son played with Transformers when he was his age. Multi-generational!!!!

Bought this for my three year old son. He loves it, and I'm very pleased with the quality.

Transformers Universe 2.0 Onslaught is a great homage to his G1 figure. He is taller,bulkier than ever before. In fact he is the size of G1 Bruticus now. The Electronic features add nicely to the toy. The only major complaint is lack of a waist joint.

This figure is amazing. Great size, great design, and hardly any annoying gimmicks getting in the way. This is by far the best Ultra mode in the Universe series and I highly recommend it to both kids and collectors.

This was always one of my favorite Decepticons, so I'm loving this figure. The only thing that gets this down to a 4 star is that its not done in true G1 colors like the Japanese version.

Nice color and not to hard to transform. my 7 year-old son loves this guy. no loose flimsy parts and is cool to look at!

A very nice Generation 1-like figure for those who remembers and enjoy the G1 toy line. In this new mode, Onslaught is very posable in its joints from his hands to his legs. An added bonus is that his SWAT roof-top in vehicle mode becomes his shield in robot mode along with a pop-out gun in his right hand. A must-have for all new and old Transformers collectors.

The execution of this toy is a joke. The plastic pieces don't fit even approximately in many cases, and the sound effects are an embarrassment. The machine-gun noise sounds like it was borrowed from a "space gun" toy circa 1985, and the siren is about half a second of "boo-weep". The engine-start sound is less than 2 second long, so driving the toy around creates an annoying repetitive effect.

Like the Brawl my son also got for Christmas, several of the pieces are made from a cheap plastic that fatigues in no time. So one of Onslaught's "cow-catcher" pieces now no longer even stays attached at all. The legs are so imprecisely manufactured that you need to manhandle the pieces to get them to click into place in vehicle mode.

If it were manufactured to exacting tolerances out of durable material, it would be a so-so toy. But the crappy sound and cheap plastic make this a mistake.
