what is this? the board redesign just looked like some teenage graphic designer took acid and meth simultaneously and then fapped all over the game board. this new redesign is AWFUL. the original deluxe edition design was elegant, sensible, and clean. this design is pointlessly cluttered, ugly, cumbersome, and actually works against the flow of the game. if it ain't broke, don't fix it. and hasbro really shouldn't have tried to fix this one.

also the new marbles are hollow cheap plastic that are prone to bouncing off the board every time you roll the die. what a POS. if you want to play aggravation as it was meant to be, buy a vintage copy of the original deluxe edition. you likely won't pay much more than this if you shop around and you'll get a MUCH higher quality game with a much more cohesive experience.

i sincerely hope hasbro/MB brings back the original design. this just sucks.

I was looking forward to the quality of this game as I played as a child. It was a cheesy replica...but was not inexpensive. Very disappointed!

Aggravation is a great game that was always a huge family favourite in my house when I was a kid, and it remains to be a favourite now that we play it with the next generation of kids.

BUT... this edition is awful. Bad. Terrible. Yuck. The board is confusing and a horrid mash of colours. It doesn't make any sense. Why mess this badly with something that worked so well? I see that Amazon now has a 1960s reproduction of this for sale for under $25. Go buy that edition! You won't regret it. It's a fantastic game that appeals to a wide range of ages. Don't waste your time on this version. Yuck. Hate it.

We had this game about 20 years ago...and our family loved getting together to play it. At some point, the game was lost...in a move or something. When we recently Googled it...ye gads! Who would know we had a valuable collectors item! $75 for the original game is a little steep...so we went with this different version...and it's just as much fun as the original. It takes awhile to get used to the different graphics, but once your past that...GAME ON!!! It's one of the best board games ever...easy rules to learn, but challenging. Seldom does the "apparent" winner win. We highly recommend this.

I think this is a fun game, you can use a fair amount of strategy in what game piece of yours you move on each roll depending on where your pieces are and where everyone else's are. I think it's one of the very few board games that I enjoy playing. I have a lot of good childhood memories playing this game with my grandma and sister, this was my grandma's favorite board game. My dad mentioned he tried to find this in stores without any luck and I looked online and saw it was discontinued, I was very happy to find it on amazon, especially brand new and still sealed in shrink wrap.

When I looked over the rules before giving Aggravation to our two grandchildren, 11 and 12, respectively, I was overwhelmed by the number of rules and their variations each just a little different from the others. How can the children and I ever get this straight?

When they brought the game over to my place, they set it up and were anxious to get started. They had played it at home and have every rule down pat! It was amazing to see! So, clearly, I am not to judge! They patiently guided me through; we had a very good time.

We found an original version of this at the summer resort & had a blast playing it. I rushed home to order it for my parents. Though the goal of this remains the same, the new look of the board is hard to follow in some places and overly complicated. Had hoped to find one in the original format, but could not. They were glad to get it, but also a bit disappointed with the look of it...so, love the game, but could pass on the new format. Suggest finding an old version & foregoing this one...
