Product Description

Product Description

Pop into the racing, chasing game where everyone's in Trouble! Set up your pegs and then hit the Pop-O-Matic die roller. Depending on what you roll, you can move your pegs to the Start space, move your pegs forward – or watch other players move while you can't! Each of your pegs has to go all the way around the board to the Finish space, but watch out – if another player's peg lands on the same space as yours, your peg has to start over. The player who gets all 4 pegs into the Finish space wins! Pop all around the board for the win when you play Trouble! Trouble, Pop-O-Matic and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro.

Making PLAY Accessible

Level 1 Basic Play

Introduce the toy and teach how to use it.

Level 2 Expanding Play

Build experience with alternative ways to play.

Level 3 Social Play

Encourage turn-taking and playing together.

Hasbro’s Fundamental Mission

Hasbro’s fundamental mission is to bring joy and play to children and their families around the world. But for some children, play can be challenging. For children with a developmental disability, play isn’t always accessible out of the box, relegating countless toys to the back of the closet or the donation bin. But more importantly, the joy and benefits that play can bring, and the connection between peers, siblings and other generations, may be lost.

A passionate group of Hasbro employees from across the company, believing we could do more, came together to team up with The Autism Project—a long-term philanthropic partner of the Hasbro Children’s Fund—to figure out a way to help. The team learned that teachers and occupational therapists often create their own supportive play tools out of Hasbro toys, which can help provide critical structure for the way that children manipulate concepts to understand play.

Hasbro ToyBox Tools was created to provide that structure through a series of tools, rooted in evidence-based and emerging best practices. The instructional videos, printable materials, and playmats are designed to help families, caregivers, and teachers unlock the power of play and to make playtime more fun and enjoyable at a child’s own pace. ToyBox Tools recognizes that parents and caregivers know their children best and encourages them to use their judgment in selecting the product and level appropriate for their child.

The only rules you really have to follow? Laugh, have fun, and enjoy spending some quality time together.

All of the kids, extended family, and friends have enjoyed playing this game.

This is not the game you remember - Hasbro has been doing this with many of their games: marketing a cheaper version and really skimping on the quality.
Jennifer
The plastic was flimsy and the pieces didn't fit right into the holes on the game board.

This is an updated version of the classic game Trouble. It has some extra gimicks to it, but the game play is essentially the same as always. I loved the game as a kid and was excited that my oldest was ready to play it too.

However, Hasbro has really cheaped out in how they're producing the board to the point of making it almost disposable. The game consists of a plastic board with a paper overlay (yes, paper not even card stock) for the board which the pegs fit through. The paper board overlay is, well, thin paper. Mine came already ripped/crumpled in one corner, so was returned. The board is fairly thin plastic, though the pop-o-matic bubble seems to be of reasonable quality (actually hard for a little kid to press). However, since the pieces sit on top of pegs (instead of in cups as in older releases), any time the board is bumped or jostled the pieces are likely to fall out.

So still a good game... but if you can find the older boards, it's probably a better bet to go for one of them. I'm planning on buying one of those (still available on Amazon) to replace mine.

Received this game from Amazon but expected the better version from the picture of the box. This is a cheap version and is not worth buying. The better version is available and I bought it locally. Amazon was great...I contacted them, told them the picture does not match the game being sent out for $16.77. This cheap version sells for $10.00 locally. Amazon immediately issued a refund and suggested I gift or donate the inferior game. no need to return. I will donate to our local firefighters annual XMas toy fund drive.

I work with children and they have always enjoyed playing the game of trouble. After numerous uses I have had to purchase the game again due to missing rubber "feet," and other signs of aging. My most recent purchase was disappointing because unlike previous games where the game board was UNDER the plastic, this game board was NOT protected in anyway, but placed on top of the plastic. I would have returned it but it was not worth the expense of sending it back. I had the game board, a cheap flimsy board, laminated and cut the holes out in order to place it over the base. I will not buy it again.

I was excited to share one of my favorite childhood games with my own children, but this was a TOTAL disappointment. This is the biggest piece of junk. Clearly someone was charged with producing the cheapest version of the game as possible. I doubt they even attempted to play a game on their finished product. The (cheap, ill fitting) pieces go flying off the (ridiculously designed) board when you hit the "pop-o-matic"?? And they proudly declare it's Made on the USA. Disgrace!

Didn't order it on amazon, but bought this version at the Walmart and was disappointed. Game board is flimsy and the cardboard overlay is dull and unattractive.

I guess that's what you get for $7... but I would have paid more to get the sturdy, colorful, classic version.

When I opened the game to play it with my kids. The popper was broken and that is the whole point of the game. I don't see how they could have made these any cheaper. It looked like it cost only a few cents to make. The plastic was flimsy and the pieces didn't fit right into the holes on the game board. Do not waste your money on this product.

I suppose for the money, i should give it an additional star because you get what you pay for and what you get with this is a very cheap version of the game I remember loving as a child. My daughter liked the game, but it's so small and flimsy, I don't see it lasting very long.

I wish I'd never purchased this game. Cheap plastic game board that can't even stay still when you pop the cheap bubble. Loose cardboard game board just sits on the black game board. My kids don't even like it the game. Don't bother! Sorry is a much better game!
