Clue was one of the top games we played when I was a kid and we even played it with our grandsons. We thought we would buy this game for our youngest grandson to teach him how to do deduction like a detective. The game requires you to find out who ate the cake, with what drink and at what time. Over all the game is boring and not fun to play.

Our biggest surprise is how cheaply the game is made. You even have to put stickers onto a cube to make a single die to throw to determine your moves. Parts are all cheaply made plastic and you have to put plastic stickers onto them to use them. Characters are cardboard cutouts that slip into the plastic stands that contain the cake or a blank white piece with no clue. Playing the game seems complicated for young children and there is really no action or excitement.

For the price of this game it is a rip-off because of the very poor quality of construction. There are a lot more fun games out there so don't waste your money on this one.

For being a game called Clue, made by the same company as Clue, and for almost the same price as Clue, one would think it would have the same type of quality as recent productions of Clue.

One of the things that makes Clue so endearing to people are the 3D standing people and little metal objects.

All this game has to offer are "Sorry" pieces for people and paper circles for the objects. No imagination whatsoever from the creators....just print up some paper and toss in some game pieces. :(

Would not recommend.

Having tried this game out, I really fail to see the point of it. In some failed attempt to make this game "kid-friendly," the designers somehow took all the fun out of it. I've tried two different versions of Clue Jr. and they both stink. You'd be better off just teaching your kids how to play the original Clue game. The rules aren't any harder to learn than the rules for this game, and they'll have just as much fun investigating a murder as they will trying to find out who ate the cookies or the cake or took the toy or whatever other stupid scenario comes out next. Take a pass on this one, folks! Definitely not worth the time or money!

The games was needlessly complicated and really not like the regular game of Clue. My 1st grader didn't like it

My 7 yr old and 4 yr old loved the original clue, (on a simpler version)so for Christmas we thought this was a great idea. Well, it is just to dull. I mean it is and it isn't...it wasn't fun. The kids got bored. Now I am sure if we play it a few more times it will go faster and smoother as we will all become more familiar with it but the first few times was not fun. We all like the simpler version we created from the original Clue.

I dread having my 4 year-old son pick this game for game night. Set up is a pain. Counting spaces is difficult because it's not always clear what's a space. It's more of a guessing game than anything else. there are lots of little bits and pieces to keep track of.

5 year old son has become enamored with playing clue now because of this games simplicity and fun. He has begun writing clue stories, this game has helped his imagination. We probably shouldn't have mentioned to him its about solving a murder cause now he keeps using that word.

The receiver was not sure if she liked it or not. Lots to learn.

My little girl loves board games but doesn't always grasp the rules of how to play. This was easy enough for her to follow and yet challenging enough to keep her interest. Plus its not so easy that I get bored playing it with her. Always a plus.
