I agree completely with the review by Cheryl Crow! A few of my friends gathered together recently for fun and games; the hostess had picked this game up randomly on clearance from Starbucks of all places. We all loved the game so much we played it all weekend! The board basically looks like a large March Madness bracket (without the play-in games!), with the 4 regions representing actions, places, people and things. Instead of college teams, the brackets get filled with markers that say on it, for example, "Stephen Colbert," "Mother Nature," "taking a nap," "going shopping," "Paris," "zero gravity chamber," "wasabi," "futon." Then each player writes down their predictions of which items they think are going to make it out of the 4 regions into the Final Four as well as the eventual champion. These predictions are put into an envelope and then the game begins. Players take turns choosing a faceoff and drawing a card with a question. For instance, for a faceoff between "taking a nap" and "going shopping," the question might read, "Which activity is easier to do upside down?" Then everyone discusses their opinions and a vote is held to determine the winner of that particular matchup. Of course, if one of the items is your secret pick, you try everything you can to convince the others to vote your way! We found this game very unique and a great conversation starter (sometimes the discussion would really take off so that it'd take a while to get back to the game, but that was most of the fun). Highly recommended, but as Cheryl's review states, Cranium no longer produces this game, so you'll have to find it secondhand, but I was pleased to find that some amazon vendors carry it!
