4.0 out of 5 stars Sing along game, January 8, 2005

My 3 1/2 year old absolutely loves this game. She likes to sing the song and the pieces are just the right size for her. Some of the cardboard ducks can be a little flimsy but we've had great fun with this game as a family. I also like the fact that the game is short and winning is "luck of the duck" so it helps us as parents work on good sportsmanship while playing multiple times so everyone can win.

5.0 out of 5 stars Duck, Duck, Goose board game, March 17, 2006

This game is played much like the "tag-type" game we played in elementary school except that it is a board game. It helps young children learn to match colors, to move around the board clockwise, and to take turns. The delightful goose sings and flaps her wings. I have purchased this game for each family of grandchildren and we have a great deal of fun playing it together.

My daughter really loves to play this game. I like it because it teaches her to take turns with other kids. As well as teaches her colors, its a short game so we can give all the kids a chance to win because it a game of luck.

I have three children 2,5,and 6. We have several board games. This one is perfect for my son who is almost 2-1/2. Perfect means that it is challenging and educational for him. The ducks have a color on the bottom of their eggs, which you need to match with the color on your "nest." He has learned when to stop his turn and allow me to take my turn. He has learned patience. The game was enjoyed by a 4-year old friend too. I enjoyed interacting with my son and playing the game too. The song that starts the game is catchy "duck, duck, goose, catch the little ducks that are on the loose, try to gather them all and put them in their nest"

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Preschool Toy, June 8, 2006
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars

Everybody was so excited when we bought it. Not only it's easy to play, the 3-year-olds would dance with the song. The voice is not too loud to scare my autistic boy. It is a great broad game for the starters.
The only thing is my 3-year-old broke the broad on the very first day. But other than that, everybody is still excited when we take this game out of the cabinet.

My 3 1/2 year old son loves this game! It is very fun for him and easy for his age to play. My 1 year old loves the music that the goose plays, he dances to it every time! Very cute game, at a reasonable price.

Overall a really cute game with a very catchy song. My 4 year old loves it, but the 2 year old is not yet old enough to grasp the concept. The only educational value is color matching and learning to take turns, but still very fun.
