Our family loves guess who and are avid Disney fans!! this game is a great combo for us. My daughter loved the characters and that there were just as many females as males since in the original there is definately more males and makes for unfair play if you draw a female. The game takes a while to put together the first time, the cards are flimsy and difficult to get into the slots. It probably took my thirty minutes to put the thing together, but it is a great family game. If you kids do not know the characters, it may be difficult for them to play. Guess who is a great educational game that teaches process of eliminiation and proper phrasing of questions, her first grade teacher told me it is one of the best games to play for memory development, plus it's a quick game that doesn't take hours to play.

Guess Who? Maybe not.,

The original Guess Who game is my five-year-old son's favorite game, but he doesn't seem to like this one quite as much. The pros: the same easy game to play, inexpensive. The cons: the pictures are smaller, the cards are smaller, the cards fall out of their holders (but this is true in the original game), cheap construction. As an educator, I am particularly disappointed that the chosen characters don't have enough attributes for the guessing part to be engaging or to help kids build skills. Without enough attributes it is hard to throw the occasional game - although I rarely have to take a fall because my son can beat me fair and square most of the time. Also, it seems as if the characters were picked at random and not typical Disney favorites. Get this if you want a change from the original, but don't be suprised if it doesn't live up to your expectations.

I am 6 years old and this game is kind of easy for me. It is fun. When I first played it it is pretty fun. I like it now to but is easier for me now. You have to figure out who the other person's card it. You can ask one question per turn. It is cool. Other kids like it too.

If you're looking for a toy that actually works like the original "Guess Who", don't waste your money. Despite carefully assembling the toy (snapping out, clicking on the "flip up" card holders; inserting cards by "threading" through the plastic holders), the toy does not function as it should.
The plastic holders stick, and when pulled - gently - to unstick, come completely off the base; the cards slip out with the slightest movement. This game was on the top of my son's Christmas list, and was a complete disappointment and waste of money. The toymaker should be ashamed of themselves for riding the coat tails of the popular "Guess Who" with this piece of junk.

My daughter-4 yrs old-loves this game! It it great to see the wheels turning in her little mind as she thinks about what to ask next. The game moves quickly-as quick as you ask your questions and that leaves room for a few good games in a short amount of time. Would definitely recommend this and have given it as a gift with great reviews as well. The only downside is that the plastic is cheap and breaks easily. Lastly, devote about 15-20 minutes to "set up" prior to the first play. There are alot of pieces to break apart and then put in their place.

I loved the original "Guess Who" as a kid, so when my son turned 5 recently, I thought it was time to initiate him. And as a family of Disneyphiles, this edition seemed perfect.
My son got the hang of it quickly, and now enjoys playing. Besides being fun, and something we can do together, "Guess Who" is great for building skills such as categorizing (finding all the characters with feathers in their hats) and problem solving (deciding whether "Does your person have black hair?" or "Is your person a princess?" is the better question, and why) that pre-schoolers and kindergarten-age children are learning to develop. The fact that the cards are full of Disney characters means young children are likely already familiar with the faces, a quality that will facilitate the learning-to-play process and appeal to most kids (lots of parents, too). As others have mentioned, the game can be rather annoying to put together, and is not of the best quality, but in fairness, most of my son's toys these days fall into that category. I have not had any problems with card holders snapping off or cards falling out, though. And once the game is put together initially, it's pick-up-and-play. This is a great game to enjoy with your children.

I am just ordering the Disney version of this game. Our five children have all enjoyed the original version. It is a great learning game which teaches kids to ask relevant questions and think logically. My wife and I are both teachers and have found that kids of all ages enjoy the challenge of narrowing down the many possibilities to identify the mystery person. Our 3 1/2 year old has most recently played this game with surprising results. With some coaching, he is able to formulate good questions and draw appropriate conclusions, sometimes figuring out the identity of his mystery person before his opponent. We are looking forward to the added fun of identifying known Disney characters with this version of the game.

Young Disney fans enjoy the challenge of figuring out who their opponent's character is... The little character cards slip out of the holders too easily, though.

I discovered this game while visiting friends and immediately bought one for my 6 year old niece. It is easy enough for young children to learn quickly, challenging enough to play over and over again, and clever enough to prevent it from becoming boring to adults.
