The Cobra Night Watch sets are a blast from the 1980s! As a child I remember wanting a small army of bad guys for my 3 ¾" (1:18-scale) GI Joe and Star Wars figures to fight. But back in the 1980s it was difficult between birthdays and other occasions to collect enough of these generic soldiers to pit against our heroes.

Each Night Watch set includes 6 figures. The figure sculpts are pretty similar to the original molds from the 1980s and seem very durable. The new paint jobs are amazing on these figures. I'm confident that these figures will look good mixed in any collection of old or new action figures. There were six stands and more than enough guns, that younger collectors probably won't mind if a few of the accessories end up being lost to the mysterious Bermuda Vacuum (the place where all small toy parts end up).

Even if your child doesn't collect GI Joe figures, these packs are an easy way to quickly create an army of bad guys for other action figures (Star Wars, superheroes, etc.) to take on. At $20, the 6-figure sets are really a great deal. If you have multiple kids, buy a set and have them share the figures.

This is great set for the nostalgic collector remembering his/her youth or next generation of Joe fans. This set brings back a lot of fond memories for me, and it's been well received by my 7yr old nephew who is just now finding out about GI-Joe. It's a shame the new DTC Joes won't be in retail stores for more of the younger kids to see.

As popular as the infantry pack was is how this will be as well. If we wanted our cobras to be anything other than blue or grey, we had to paint them ourselves. well now we have the cobra night watch who guard the base at night from the joes. These guys look as good as the originals just with more darker colors. They come with many different weapons to choose from and if you wanted a good vehical for them to ride in, the night humvee is perfect even though its for the joes. an excelent to get as it will add more to the cobra troops with great troop building oportunities.
