This is apparently the same amount and distribution of money currently provided in the classic Monopoly games. In other words, it is exactly the same pack of money you get if you buy the game. You get the following:

40 - One dollar bills
40 - Five dollar bills
40 - Ten dollar bills
48 - Twenty dollar bills
23 - Fifty dollar bills
23 - One Hundred dollar bills
23 - Five Hundred dollar bills

I don't know why they insist on having these amounts in the pack, but at least you know what you will get. I still say that they should at least double the amount of one hundred dollar bills, since people tend to run out of them quickly!

I bought two. I am very happy with them. How excited can you get about play money?

Never knew you could buy extra money, it really comes in handy when you are playing an extended game or have a game with 8 players. You no longer have to use pieces of paper.

The extra money ordered is the same amount that the game provides. Wish it would have been more. More than likely I shall purchase more in the future and from this seller.

We are in our 70's and remember playing Monopoly as children and being entertained for hours and hours. We recently purchased two boards and needed extra money. We belong to a local social club and are thinking of hosting Monopoly parties, although we keep so busy we're not sure if we have the hours we did when we were children to spend playing Monopoly! We thank Amazon for making this available.

Bought this as a gag gift for a 50 year old. He thought it was great. I will get more for some others.

I bought this money to setup a reward system at home, paying out monopoly money based on goals achieved -- accumulating monopoly money in a piggy bank to spend toward fun rewards. I picked the monopoly money as the assortment gave a great range for accumulation.

For those of you who like to have a drawn out "custom battle" of monopoly, you know "free parking gets $500 Progressive every time some lands on it, this is for you. I ordered 3 sets so the dog could have his own and not feel left out. also using it to teach my 4 and 7 years olds how to make change, something most high school age cashiers CAN'T do.

I bought this with the monopoly game because you always run out of the money when playing the game. $50 and $100 are always the first to go. Hopefully, I won't run out now. If I do, I'll buy some more.

From what I remembber, when we had a Monopoly game, about 20 years ago, this "money" is printed on good and servicable paper. NOT as strong as the paper used on real money...but strong enough to last for about 500 games of Mnopoly, if handled well. The numbers on this Monopoly money are good and large, and each denomination is nicely printed on a different colour paper.

The thought comes to me that, even if you don't play Monopoly with it, that this Monopoly Money can make a dandy budgeting tool! Turn the higher denominations into 1c, 5c, 10c, and 25c coins, with some white-out and a pen. Determine how much money you have for spending every week or month. When you spend the actual money -- in cash, by check, by credit card, or other means....TEAR UP THE CORRESPONDING AMOUNT OF MONOPOLY MONEY, AND THR0W IT AWAY! THIS is one method which will DEFINITELY bring you "down to Earth" with spending habits. (I've tried it....it works!)

The way the economy is going, it seems that this pictureless, (but cheap-to-produce might, in a few years, actually become the currency of the USA! (MY idea completely...though I have heard that our "real" currency is now worth about as much as Monopoly Money in some quarters.) The way I see it, in a very few years, (IF we all survive 2012, that is), our beloved US goverment will CALL IN ALL MONOPOLY MONEY, (and also PAY people to turn it over), so that it can be imprinted with a holographic design or two, (or twenty...) So, buying this Monopoly Money now, can, perhaps, do more for you than
just giving you more money to play Monopoly with. Because, as things are going..... Who knows, you might even MAKE some REAL money, should the goverment PAY you for sending it in! Here's hoping!
