I bought the pink ouija board for my daughter thinking that the color pink would only attract friendly spirits to her slumber party. Well, the results were mixed; the first spirit REALLY liked pink, and was friendly but apparently was a poltergeist, 'cause it started redecorating the den. Lilith Greenwand (the name my 13 year old insists being called now) did some kind of ritual and banished the spirit. She and her friends set to work again - they are so cute with their chants in the language they made up and their little black robes and hats!! The next spirit they summoned with the pink ouija board was less benign and several of the girls started projectile vomiting/speaking in tongues/bleeding from the eyes. Luckily, I had just taken my headphones off (listening to my old Norwegian Black Metal records again!) and heard the commotion - I immediately donned my "Three Wolf Moon" power t-shirt and ran into the basement. The sheer force of the shirt sent the spirit back where it came from, cured the girls, tuned the TV to the 700 Club and closed the evil pink portal.

I like the carrying bag that holds the Ouija. There are cards and a planchette with the board, and they all fit in pouches. The board itself goes in the back. The clear plastic makes it easy to see through, while the bag itself is pink and has a pink handle.

The board is "girly" with pink colors, and the planchette and cards are pink as well. The board itself is small, but two girls can play it. The suggested age is 8 and up.

People, People! This is a review board, not a church. Don't spout your religious opinions here. Anyway, I will actually review this product. This game is really fun at sleepovers. You turn off the lights, make it spooky, and have some fun! Don't listen to those religious fanatics who say you'll go to hell if you play with this and that it was made by Satan and all that junk. It is a toy. It is made of cardboard. It is pink. Do you really think a demon is going to waste his time communicating with little girls through a light pink piece of cardboard?! It wasn't "made by Satan". It was mass produced on a production line in some random factory.

This is not a toy, and I did not buy it as such, I bought it for what it is, and it is very awesome and real, I do not recommend this for children or even teenagers unless they are magickally adept and cast a circle of protection first because this is a very powerful tool and a gateway that allows things to enter, things that if you know nothing about this stuff can cause you harm, other than that it is a true ouija board , just that it is pink so it makes it alot more fun to hang with the girls. I LOVE IT!

I believe that this board does work. It attracts spirits. I don't believe its just evil spirits. Some are evil and some are good. I believe you should just becareful letting kids play with it. I have played with the board many times. Its a very interesting to do. I know that I wasn't moving it and the person that was doing it with me wasn't moving it either. There is a such thing as spirits and we are able to communicate with them. I have nothing bad to say about it, I have never experienced any bad things from playing it. I have experienced weird stuff going on but nothing bad. Not saying that something bad couldn't happen cause that is always a possiblity.

A pink Ouija board? How the hell am I supposed to conjure and commune with evil spirits with a pink Ouija board? My black cloak will totally clash and I'll probably only be able to speak to the spirit of Malibu Barbie.

I've actually gotten several Ouija boards and books relating to it's use. Those endeavoring to use it should be aware that operating this device is a hit and miss. To have activity, you have to connect with a spirit. Trying to do that isn't like making a phone call to a friend. It's more like trying to find an open gas station in the middle of the night. Those that are knowledgeable about the mystical realm and are already connected to spirits, know what to do. If you happen to have a spirit that is bound to an area (such as situations where a person lives in a haunted house), then you have a situation of being at the right place to get service.

If you're not fortunate enough to have occult knowledge or live in a haunted house, then you are going to have to be patient. Many times you will have to spend nights without a response. The lack of activity will often cause those that aren't disciplined, to quit before making a connection and write off the board as a hoax. If you're patient enough and make contact with a spirit, from that point on, you can have regular communications with the spirit world.

Having read various books on the subject and tried all the various means that authors have suggested; the best resource and also the fastest means to communicate with spirits is to follow the directions given by Aleister Crowley. J. Edward Cornelius pulls together all the teachings by Aleister Crowley in his book, Aleister Crowley and the Ouija Board. All the things that a person needs to know about a Ouija board, is put together in this book. It has enabled me to get quick results and also provide information that other books haven't.

One of the things that Aleister Crowley and the Ouija Board provide that many of the other books doesn't, is an understanding of the spirit world and the dangers. Anyone that seen the movie The Exorcist: The Version You've Never Seen (Keepcase), knows that the little girl's possession started with playing with the Ouija board and the initial contact with a spirit eventually lead to her possession. This book gives you enough understanding and detailed instructions so that you don't end up having to share your body or deal with any of the negative aspects of the spiritual world.

Another key note, Aleister Crowley and the Ouija Board requires that three people participate when working the board. I've actually modified the instructions so I can work solo and even though I've modified it, it still works. Anyone with a serious interest, with making contact should educate themselves so that you can get results but also keep yourself from danger.

A resource that should also be considered is Dr. Shakuntala Modi's book Remarkable Healings: A Psychiatrist Discovers Unsuspected Roots of Mental and Physical Illness. This books provides understanding of possession and how to protect yourself from it. In addition, it also informs the individual as to how to go about exorcising a spirit if one is possessed.

Additional resources that would be of help concerning contacting spirits or possession are: White Noise (Full Screen Edition). The movie dramatically shows the dangers of the spiritual world. Though it's made for entertainment but if you study case files of possession and obsessions, something like that can occur in lesser degrees. Also when you go into the bonus features, you can actually view genuine contacts with spirits, which might be more effective then the Ouija board itself. In the bonus feature, they provide instructions and also contact information for those that want to take communicating with spirits to the 21st Century.

I bought this because i had been told of how it worked and i wanted to see if it was true. I never thought it would work it looked like a little girls toy. But i was wrong my friends and i played it in a hotel room we asked to speak to a spirit thats supposedly haunted an area near by when it worked she told us she was sad when we asked y she said her baby. the spirits name was octavia Hatcher if u look up the story u will find she lost her baby shortly before she died. This board works for truly what it was made for i would not sugest getting it for ur children.

I'm not sure why people are throwing a fit over a game. People honestly think that by playing a game that magical things really happen?? Get real. It's a piece of plastic on a piece of cardboard. If you REALLY think that you are somehow channeling sprits through a child's game then don't buy it, otherwise please shut up about it already!
