The arcade-style excitement of a skee-ball game is yours at home with this simple yet highly captivating ball game. In the classic skee-ball setting, players roll a ball across a surface and up a ramp after which players earn points based on which hole the ball lands in. In an alternate setting, players must bounce a ball on a tiny trampoline-like platform and again earn points based on where the ball ends up. An electronic voice tells you your score and offers words of encouragement. Three different games are available on each setting: target practice, "match me", and a high score challenge. We liked the variety offered in such a simple toy and appreciated how easily the whole kit can be folded and put away when not in use. --Charlie Williams

5.0 out of 5 stars FUN FOR ALL AGES A HUGE HIT September 2, 2005
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My daughters top pick for her 6th Birthday and now I see why. It is a blast. Kids from 2 to 32 were fighting for a turn. You can play it two ways. One where you bounce the balls on a trampoline and try to get them in the holes and one that plays almost like skeet ball from the arcades. theres 3 diffrent levals of play and reminds me of the adult version bullzeye ball but easier for kids. A great toy. The have been playing it for 3 days now non-stop. Easy to put assemble Automaticly shuts off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must-have toy!!! October 31, 2005
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this game after seeing it in several parenting magazines and thinking it looked like fun. I was not disappointed! This game is so much fun for all ages and my husband is often vying with the kids for a turn. The game also folds in half for storage and takes up very little space. This is an excellent toy and I highly recommend it for kids of all ages.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Christmas Present Ever! January 7, 2006
By CC Mama
Durability: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My 3 year old son received this for Christmas from Grandma, and boy was it a hit! Everyone, including the adults, could not stop playing it! The kids love to roll the balls, while the adults use the bouncing pad and the high score challenge to play against one another. The fun continued even after all the kids went to bed! Well worth the money!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a great toy!! November 29, 2005
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Bought it for my sons 5th birthday and he loved it. So for christmas I picked up two more as gifts---One for my nephew and one to have on hand as an extra gift. Everyone loves playing this so its perfect for any kid in the preschool age, just great for having on hand as a last minute gift.

Only drawback is this item ships alone and you don't get any discounts on the shipping. I bought two and even though the box could have definately held two, each one shipped seperately and had to pay all that shipping. But the toy is worth it and it is hard to find at the stores right now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for all June 5, 2006

I love skee-ball, so when I saw this in the store I wanted it for me. Luckily my son also loves skee-ball, so I was able to call it a gift for him. We play with it often, especially when his friends come to the house. It can be played by anyone at any skill level, and we often have players whose ages range by thirty years. I do wish that the balls stayed in the game a bit better, but otherwise this is a well designed, fun game.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's a hit November 28, 2005

Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this for my 4 year old son to tide him over until Christmas. It is so much fun! I even enjoy playing with it. It does make some noise, but it's not too bad and there are 2 volume levels. There are 3 different 'games', the first one doesn't keep count, the second tells you a specific hole to get your ball in (this one is hard, even for me), and the third keeps track of your score for about a minute and a half (this is the one we like best). THe announce shouts out a few encouraging phrases, my son got a big kick out of it saying 'You're on fire' lol. It even remembers your highest score. You can roll the balls or bounce them on a little cloth trampoline. It was very easy to put together and the stickers are already on it. It folds in half for storage, with the 5 balls inside. I would definately recommend it for anyone ages 3 and up.

This is a wonderfully exciting game for children and adults alike. It's a fun way for kids to develop hand-eye coordination. I was amazed to see people that you wouldn't typically see, "playing games," participating in the skee-ball action.

Playskool's Bulls-Eye Arcade has an on/off button as well as Hi/Med volume setting. There's even a simple yet effective ball return for the players. The High Score on our Niece's Bulls-Eye game currently stands at 141 using the trampline, but my brother in law will beat that score soon. I might need to get one myself, and I don't have any kids!

5.0 out of 5 stars Back to the Boardwalk March 18, 2006
Verified Purchase
Durability: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
A throwback to the old skee-ball of the boardwalk in the 40's. I was able to introduce my son-in-law (a Deputy US Attorney) and my 4 year old grand-daughter, to the fun I recalled from that era. Not quite the heft of the arcade game, but, similar enough to keep them occupied for some time. The real advantage of this toy is honing fine motor skills, teading gentle throwing and rolling with a reward for NOT being overly aggressive.

My daughter said "Finally a game that the boys can play on Play Dates."

Highly recommended!

It's small, and the kids never really took to it after Christmas. It was under $[...] shipped, so no complaints there. It's not the same as the beloved ski-ball. Read more
