I love my pikachu plush! he is definetly one of my favorite plushies! he is also best friends with my electronic talking Mew!when you press pikachus two paws, his cheeks light up and he talks to you! if you dont talk to pikachu for a long time, pikachu will cry!AWWWWW! So if you get pikachu, i promise, you wont regret it!

this pikachu is the best. he talks and his mouth moves. so do his ears. he is just the cutest thing i have ever seen. i give him a 100 gold star rating.

When my brother was little this toy was in the stores and he loved it. He had countless hours of fun with it. So when it came back out this year I bought one for my 2 year old daughter who loves it so much. She plays with it all day. A good choice for the young ones.

I bought this for my girlfriend's birthday. Though neither of us is a big Pokémon fan--we both find the show rather silly and puerile--for some reason we cannot resist the charm and incredible "kawaii" (Japanese for "cute") of Pikachu. My girlfriend and I both already have a large plush Pikachu pillow each, and because her apartment complex doesn't allow cats or dogs Pikachu has become her substitute, inanimate pet (hey, he doesn't shed!).

I came across the talking Pikachu for which I'm writing this review in Toys 'R' Us the other day and to be honest I could not resist the little guy. I'm not a big sucker for most cutesy things but for whatever reason (perhaps a clever marketing ploy) talking Pikachu now joins his larger, nonspeaking likeness as a surrogate pet.

Talking Pikachu has an incredibly cute voice and is well-built, soft, and fun for kids and even some adults. In fact, hearing him recite a few lines effectively anthropomorphizes himself to a degree few talking critters can. In other words, the sign of a thoughtfully designed toy animal is one that can provoke a certain emotional response and even make you see it as almost sentient.

When I have kids I'm sure talking Pikachu will still be around to provide entertainment and kawaii-ness to another generation.

I was worried that this toy would disappoint my 4 year old Pokemon loving daughter. However, she loves it. It does not always respond to her voice, but she presses on its hand and it will always respond that way. Its little cheeks light up, otherwise, it is a very simple toy. It seems to say "picka" or "picachu" just enough for her to be able to imagine that it is real.

I've owned the original Electronic Talking Pikachu for a number of years now, and it has truly stood the test of time. What really amazes me, however, is its ability to survive almost any mishap. For example, once I was having the floor in my bedroom cleaned and Pikachu fell off of my bed and into the bucket of water! I was sure it was never going to work again, but after a day or so of airing it out to dry it was just as good as new!

Durability aside, this plush is very cute and fun to play with. I purposely leave it on sometimes to see what it will do next! The only problem I ever noticed is that is has trouble sitting up sometimes, but most plushes are like that. I would recommend this to any Pokémon or plush doll fan!

Be careful which version you get of this, There are two versions of talking pikachu, one is called thundershock or something, and shakes (he has two hands that when you squeeze them they do different things.) The other only has one. The one in the picture here, is the cuter of the two toys. It's the one my wife likes. ;). The other one, is more accurate to the look of Pikachu, however it's not as soft and fuzzy. It is however a lot louder than the other. Again, both by the same company.

I bought it for my son. I love this toy! It is THE cutest most lovable thing I have EVER seen! I am not exaggerating! Even other kids who have come and seen this toy have loved it and asked me to buy them one!

I bought this for my 5 year old son. It is very cute. It's mouth moves when you squeeze it's hand and it's ears wiggle. I thought the cheeks turning red would look very plastic and fake but it was put together very nicely. Very sweet and soft.

This toy is not meant for young children who like to be very rough with their toys (throwing, stomping, etc.). It is very cute. It is good to hug when you are sad, lonely, etc. I am 9-years-old and my Mom is typing this for me.
