Chewie is back!!
Whether you were a kid who first saw the movie in '77 or a fan because of the re-release in '97, this is a great Chewbacca (Chewie) toy. It's durable for kids and a collector's item if you are an adult. I have the original 12" figure from '77 and toy prodction has definitely improved in 20 years, you think? There's not too much educational value.

No hope for Chewie....
I guess there's just no hope for Our Favorite Wookie. When they made the fur-covered one--with the wire framed body...he just didn't look right. So they switched over to this one. And to be honest it just don't look right either. It seems unfortunately that Chewie's doomed to suffer a life of indignation at the hands of the 12" plastic gods.
