I have never written a review, but I just had to for this item! This is the most fun toy my son has ever received. My son, husband and I all played for 2 hours straight. We loved it! We will be playing this many times. It's better than our local putt-putt.

I recently purchased this toy at my local Toys R Us retail store using a coupon. It's simple to set up, (plug and play is as simple as it gets) and loads of fun to play. The people who play it at our house are all over the age of 20, so adults can have fun with this as well as the kids. The only thing that can be said is the putter is a wee bit too short, but this is easily remedied by simply elevating the base. I'm sure people almost 6' tall were not the first people they thought would play with this. Definitely a good choice for any age.
(I can't understand why someone would rate something negatively based on a retail store experience. This is the online store, which is usually a different price/set up than brick and mortar stores. If you find it cheaper, good for you. These reviews should be about the products. Either way, this is a great choice for Christmas.)

I have a seven year old boy and we got this game because he is really into golf. It was really enjoyable for the whole family. He plays it when he has friends spend the night and they really love the game too. This is a must have for christmas. It is very durable the only thing is after playing it for hours, because you will. You will need batteries on hand. But thats nothing to big. Have a Great Family Night Enjoy

My son received this game for his birthday. We love to play this game as a family. It is a lot of fun and great entertainment

This is one of those games that can be great fun for all ages. It doesn't require a lot of skill or knowledge of the game of golf. I recently brought this game on a trip to the mountains and played it every night with my friends. Since we are a competitive group, that likes to gamble, we bet on each hole. It's tons of fun and all my friends are going to get one come Christmas!

We bought this as a Christmas gift for our 7 year old son who loves to play putt-putt golf. Besides his 3-D pool table, this was his favorite gift! And ours, too! The whole family plays, even our 4 year old little girl! It is easy to set up (just plug-n-play), easy to transport (we take it on trips) and easy to play. Things to think about: 1. As one reviewer already mentioned, you must have lots of AA batteries on hand if you end up playing it as much as we do! The picture starts to go fuzzy and "wiggle"--that's how you know it is time to change the batteries! 2. There is no way to clear the "High Score" feature and start fresh. No big deal if only our 7 year old played. But his big brother (33 yrs. old) played every game and has the highest score for each game except one! It would be nice if I could clear the high scores for our 7 year old (but not too big of a deal--something to work towards)! 3. One of my favorite features is that it has an automatic shut-down feature to save the batteries. So, if it hasn't been played in a while (and your kids forget to turn it off) it will shut itself off.

Tons of fun for all ages. Not a serious golf trainer, of course, but a great family game. Getting up to putt when it's your turn makes it more energetic than sitting around watching a board game.

This toy is so much fun for adults and kids alike. Santa (grandma) brought it, so I had not heard of it and was not expecting much. Ours works REALLY well - the club is too short for adults but the base is easily raised. My 7 year old daughter and her friends play it for hours at a time - this is a first for toys around here. I love to join in the fun and try the different courses. She is learning what par and birdie mean, as well as lessons in scoring. Must be good hand/eye coordination too. I am so pleased with this crazy little toy - its really fun for the money.

Our whole family loves playing this game. Finally something fun to play when our Granchildren 4 thru 8 come. It is never boring and can be played solo or with several players.

I was actually out looking for the virtual bowling version like the one we saw in Epcot in Oct.2005. I don't think that one is out yet but we can't wait. I ended up purchasing this for the holiday for my 7 year old son who loves mini golf but we have very few courses here in NY. Not only was this a hit with him but the whole family loves it. My parents were over last night and they had a blast playing this!! Great toy...Now will someone get that bowling one out as it is also fun and we enjoyed trying it in Epcot!!
