5.0 out of 5 stars Crikey! What a blast!
Fans of Steve and the show will love this! Game play is simple. Icons of Steve and Terri move along the croc fence, but a selection of "Croc Bite" cards add Danger, Danger, Danger. A motorized Aggro the lawnmower-hating croc attempts to bump into spring-loaded game pieces, causing them to fly into the air uproariously. (not for very young children) Each Croc...

3.0 out of 5 stars Too Simple to hold the interest of "8-and-up" children.
Having played this game with both a 5-year-old and a 9-year-old I'd give it a recommended age rating of 5 to 8 years. It will not hold the interest of most older children for more than a couple of games. The five-year-old still enjoys it, but the older child has no interest in it two weeks after receiving it as a birthday present. The educational value is limited:...

The educational value is limited: children can practice counting up to nine, and the game cards have a few crocodile facts which become repetitive after a few games. I recommend removing the "move 9 spaces" cards to allow for more crocodile attacks per game--that's the fun part to kids.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun game, but may seem corny to kids older than 7., April 4, 2001

I have a 10 and a 7 year old child that absolutely love Steve and Terri Irwin; they seldom miss an episode of "The Crocodile Hunter" on Animal Planet. So buying this game should have been a no-brainer in terms of getting something fun for them to play with. Right? Well, sort of...

There isn't much challenge to the game, so my 10 year old was quickly turned off to it. Not even the fun-fact cards could sustain her interest in the game.

My 7 year old son was another story. The roaming crocodile that pops Steve (or Terri) off the fence gets him every time! Ideally I'd like my son to sit still long enough to absorb the info. on the game cards.

All in all...a fun game, but for younger children.

I bought this game for my 7 year old last year. It was fun at first but a little too simple for his age. My younger son is still enjoying it. He loves the croc and the figures really fly high sometimes if they get hit. I would say it's good for kids around 5 years old. It does help to teach counting and turn taking. The croc seems durable enough, we haven't had any problems with it. The cardboard fences are really starting to show some wear a year later.

The kids like the Animal Planet show and love Steve and Terry. The kids wanted this game for Christmas and so I bought it. There is no educational value to this game whatsoever. But the thing I like the least about this game is the fact that once set up it does not fit back into the box. If you want to put it away, you have to go through the troublesome job of dismantling it, which is not a speedy task. Worse yet is the job of putting the fencing back on again the next time in the right configuration. The kids like it though however, right now it is laying upside down on my computer room floor.

my seven year old true steve-ophile had to have this game. following the rules was dull and and boring..its basically roll the dice and move around the board. It was fun just to place the markers(steve and terri) around the board and let "agro" go get em.

4.0 out of 5 stars My Daughter loves the crocodile hunter game!, March 28, 2001

My 5 year old daughter is a big fan of Steve Irwins show, so we knew she would love this game. When we have to press the button to send AGRO running around the board, she gets the biggest kick out of it. We play it as a family... we all enjoy it. People who complain it is boring are probably more into video games... it is as much fun as any board game, more so actually. If your child Loves the show, they will love this game!!!!

I bought this board game for my four year old son because he loves to watch The Crocodile Hunter. He loves this game. It's not all that durable but it really is fun and cute! I recommend this game for any of Steve Irwin's fans.

My six year old received this as a gift for his birthday and plays almost every night with his dad or me. Great game for kids without the patience for other board games. The game moves quickly and he loves the motorized croc. Just a fun, cute game.

I like to watch the Crocodile Hunter on TV but this game wasn't that fun. All you do is pick up a card and move the players around the board. I got this for Christmas and have only played it twice.
