My 15 month old son loves this truck. He pulls it, pushes it, fills it up with toys, and can sit on it. The steering wheel makes great noises. We take it off and bring it in the car for him to play with while we travel. I see see him playing with this truck for a very long time. As he develops he will discover new ways to play with it and i'm hoping it will stay one of his favorites.

I got this for my one year old and he enjoys it. It seems to be very sturdy and well made. My only suggestions is that for kids just learning to walk, an adult will need to play with them with this toy. It's just to easy for them to push it and have it get away from them resulting in a crash on the floor.

Otherwise the noises are fun and it's a good Tonka product.

My son has several ride ons. When a family friend bought this for him for his 2nd birthday my initial thoughts were 1. oh no not another ride on and 2. he is a little too big for this. We did not want to hurt her feelings by returning it, because she was so excited about getting it for him. So, we put it together and he loves it! He now picks this over any other ride on he has. If he is happy than mommy is happy! The only things I would change would be to make the seat so a child can lift it up and to have an on/off switch for the sounds. Other than that, this unexpected gift has been a hit with my two year old!

My 10 month old son loves this toy!! He started pushing it when he could just crawl and now he pushes it as he walks. It is easy for him to manuever but very sturdy. Although, as with any walker, little ones need to be supervised when playing with it because it can easily get away from them. It is very versatile and will be a toy that can grow with him. It makes a great variety of entertaining noises as well.

Overall I have been disappointed in this toy by three things.

1. The sounds are not realistic and there is no way to turn them off.
2. The seat is difficult to lift up. My 18 month old knows that it should open but can't do it himself and it frustrates him. I understand his pain, it is not the easiest to do for an adult either.
3. It does not move well on the carpet yet it really isn't an outdoor toy.

I also bought the Rumblin' Rollin Crane to go along with the scoot n scoop and my son plays with it separately. It's a big toy for how much he actually uses it.

If you are looking for a fun ride-on toy I would not recommend this, there are a lot of other fun ones out there.

I bought this for my 13 month old for Christmas and he LOVES it! The noises from the steering wheel can get a bit irritating for parents that don't like toys with a lot of noise but the little ones love it. My 2 1/2 year old niece really enjoyed playing with it as well (always a bonus).

The truck seems to be very durable but is light weight so could be easy to tip over. One downside I see is to change it from a push-to-walk toy to a ride-on you have to take the seat all the way out rather than just changing some lever or something so it has to be done by a parent.

In general I would recommend this toy. I have several of the other push-to-walk toys and found this one to be much more educational and also a lot more fun.

My 13 month old son just received this Tonka truck today. I sat him on the seat, and we took a spin around the house. The smile on his face made this worth every penny. He will have a ton of fun exploring this toy for a long time to come!

We bought this for our nephew and he loves it along with the other kids in the house (even though they can walk and are over 5 yrs old). He has many other walk behind toys that assist in his learning stage of walking, but I believe the truck like noises really attracts him. It is very durable and helpful in this learning stage of walking. It is a great purchase!

We've had this toy for over a year now. My son loves the noises the steering wheel makes and loves that the truck picks up the shapes. However, he likes to push it sometimes and he likes to ride it. In order to move the seat from 'push' to 'sit' mode, it takes an adult (with two coordinated hands!) to change it. I have found this to be the most frustrating part of this toy. There should be a way to change settings without having to push two buttons and pull at the same time. In addition, it would help if there were some sort of braking mechanism. Other than that, my son - now 19 months old - absolutely loves it!

My 18 month old son does enjoy this toy but the design could use some improvement. The brown seat has to be completely removed and then inserted into the back in order to make this a walker. It's impossible for my son to change it himself. We just don't understand why they couldn't hinge the seat so he could convert it from walker to ride-on easily.

The scoop-up feature is cool - my 5 year old likes that part a lot.
