this is a cool keychain. alittle big to fit in my pants pocket. i have it displayed along side optimus prime. it is cheaper in the stores. i would recomend buying it at any local chain dept. store such as wal-mart or target. still all in all im happy with this toy.

OK, so this will be a quick review.

This is a review of the Transformers Movie KeyChains - Bumblebee

PROS: Excellent detail, nice arm and leg mobility, not your "average" keychain.

CONS: The lamest paint job I have seen on a toy (So I re-did it).

RESULT: My daughter loves this thing, and I thought the end result after painting it was really pretty decent and true to the movie images. I like it so much, I got a megatron for myself, after all I am the evil Dad....Bwah Ha HAAAAAAA!!!!!

The Story:

I bought this for my 16 yr old daughter because she loves the transformers movies and loves Bumblebee.
I figured having a cool Bumblebee keychain hanging off her backpack, available to mess around with during boring lectures, and the remaining time left after taking her exams would be nice.

The keychain arrived quickly, and the detail in the molding is very good. The paint job on the other hand was horrible. It was a pale orange, and looked nothing like Bumblbee. The only black on the figure was the tires, and even there it wasn't particularly good.

Given that I had a few weeks before Christmas, I got some model paints and went to work in the evenings.

Now, the thing looks righteous! Yellow where its supposed to be, black where its supposed to be and metallic blue for the eyes. Nice!

Many of her friends have commented on how cool it is.

My nephew loved this item and could not wait to clip it to his napsack. He even clips it to his belt loop on occasion.

I love this key chain! It is truly all I wished it would be! I've been wearing it on a chain around my neck as a necklace ever since I got it a few months ago, and it has held up VERY well. It still looks good as new, really. Great fun for any die hard Transformer fan.

Beware, though - he is a little bit more on the orange-ish side, as many people have pointed out to me. But it is still a great key chain. Lots of fun to play around with when you are bored in class ^^
