Simcha Raz wrote one of the great Jewish books of modern times, his biography of Rav Aryeh Levin. He also wrote a good , short biography of Rav Kook. In this work he collects Hasidic wisdom in the form of aphorisms, and provides the reader a whole world of fresh insights.This is the kind of book suited for portable pleasure, the kind where it is best not to read whole sections at a time, but rather dip in and dip out of . Much delight and food for thought is here. |
