I'd be interested in that myself, because I wanted to read the original, unabridged work. This took a while, and there was NO paperback unabridged edition. Only the original hardback. This far away from Jone's death and the publication of this novel only makes me wonder why no substantial publishing house has seen fit to republish the work as Jones originally had it. I understand that the abridgement was done to lessen the cost, which sounds like what happened both to Thomas Wolf and Faulkner's Sartoris. If somebody has some insight, please post!
