This is a huge upgrade from my beloved Canon XT!!! I recently sold my Canon XT (with 18-50mm non-IS) on ebay once I heard that this came out on Amazon. When I got the final auction bid, it sold for $225.50 + $15 shipping, not bad for a 6-year old camera. I realized that I'm still a little bit short to purchase this so I decided to auction my car, also on ebay. I sold my 2002 Toyota 4-Runner for $6,650, again not a bad sale!!! When I got the money, I counted it with the funds from the Canon XT and guess what...still short! So I decided to short-sale my 1 bedroom condo in Vegas. After a month wait, I got a buyer and sold it for $35180! After counting all the funds,I was able to collect a grand total of $42,055.50! I was actually still short of $24.50 so I called Amazon and told them if I can get it for less $25, they agreed!...The seller also gave me a free lens filter...What a good deal! For $13,000 more for additional 10 megapixel I think is better than H4D-50 and for $41,800 more for an additional 52-megapixel from a Canon XT is the best decision I ever made!!!

In life we travel on many paths and the path I am on and will stay on for the rest of my long and wonderful known existence is the path of LOVE. Well I thought to myself that I would love to have this camera. My love of life and photography is letting me know that I need this camera to fulfill my other quests in life and that is taking beautiful pictures of this beautiful World and Universe that we live in. This camera will bring those images even closer to reality as having 60 Megapixels will reveal the beauty of each and every picture I take. I will set this camera up in my Suncatcher tower (which also serves as my astronomy tower) and photograph the rising sun and the setting sun each and everyday as well as other landscape photos that I come across in life. Currently I am using an extraordinary Nikon D90 - a beautiful piece of engineering. (Just FYI - my main focus in photography is landscapes, sky, and our World - love panoramas)

To buy this beautiful camera I desired that I needed to win the lottery and retire - so with that thought in mind I did win the lottery and this camera was one of the purchases on my list of beautiful items to buy. I called up Jeff Bezos (CEO Amazon) and let him know what a fantastic company he is running (Amazon) and that his customer support was far better than any other company I have ever dealt with and we chatted about my purchases and life and he immediately saw my passion for photography and sent this camera to me. I still had to pay the 41K and change price but since I am a Multi-millionaire I had no problem doing this - that is because I love money also. With this equation of my love for life, photography, and money I was able to purchase this wonderful piece of equipment and live my dream(s). I hope all of you who read this are able to live your dreams also. Life is so beautiful.

Decent quality pictures I guess, but it doesn't have an instagram app! How am I supposed to take good pictures if there's no filters to make my pictures looked washed out and faded. It doesn't even have 8x zoom. This is my biggest disappointment since I bought that Leica M9-P (white and chrome? for photographers they have horrible taste in colors).

like I said in the title, not enough megapickles. also, it doesn't have an HDR mode. I guess I can just use it for everyday snapshots.
