Understanding of the challenges Deaf children face has always been a strength of Jean Andrews work. Matt and his friends once again face the unknown together, and this time they learn about differences between Mexican and American culture. This book is easey for middle graders to read, and will stimulate discussion of different ways of dealing with problems.
