This book is a good follow up to Z is fo Zamboni. It has numbers rather than letters, and the two would make a great gift together. As a stand alone book it is not as good as the Zamboni book though.

I bought this book for my granddaughter who is hockey fan and loves the game. She really was interested in learning her numbers. We are a hockey family and anything that can help my granddaughter is a winner in my book.

This sturdy board book is colorful and fun especially for a 2 year-old boy in my family daycare who is obsessed with hockey right now. We keep it in a special place in our cozy book corner for him. Another 4-year old who is a hockey team drop-out at the moment is rebuilding his interest in playing and this book is a great help and encouragement. I gave them their own copy for Christmas and it has a place in the 2 year-old's crib at home.

I GOT THIS BOOK FOR CHIRSTMAS FOR OUR 3 YR OLD BUDDING HOCKEY FAN. HE HAS ASKED FOR IT EVERY NIGHT SINCE. IT HAS REALLY HELPED HIM GRASP THE IDEA OF COUNTING THE 20'S AND 30'S AND SO ON AS THEY ARE TALKED ABOUT IN THE BOOK. ONE PAGE HAS 80 JERSEYS WITH ALL OF THE DIFFERENT NUMBERS. MY SON LOVES THIS BOOK AND SO DO I.

I sent this as a gift to my nephew who is 5 years old and a huge hockey fan when he got a hat trick. Although he's not reading yet he loved the book which his Dad and older Brother read to him. This is NOT an ordinary counting book - it contains all sorts of useful information about hockey. It is the type of book that kids and adults will want to refer to more than once. Since this is what I was looking for I'm really happy!

Just love the book - it was a gift from a Hockey Fan to a child - goes great with the hockey alphabet book.
Pictures are wonderful along with all the hockey information.

I gave this and "Z is for Zamboni" as a gift to my Canadian nephew for his baby shower. Everyone really loved it. This would be a great for any youngster who loves the game of hockey.

The greatest achievements in Hockey are celebrated in this book as well as simple rules. There is additional information on the side bars of each page. And for someone who knows nothing about hockey, this book taught me a lot. It also kept the attention span of my oldest, which is not always easy to do.

Mr. Napier put a lot of information into terms most younger kids could understand. I was impressed as well as how interactive the book was as well. I definitely would love to read more of this author's work.

I was given Z is for Zamboni as a gift a few years ago. This book completes the set!!!! For the hockey lover in your family no matter the age!

It's informative, interesting, and the illustrations are BEAUTIFUL!
