I've used these gloves with an AR-15 and with a handgun drawing out of a holster. It worked great in both situations. I was able to load clips easily and even use my Leatherman tool easily. I highly recommend trying these out. The only risky thing is getting the right size. Since the leather is synthetic, it won't stretch much if at all, but who knows what a lot of use will do. I'd say pick a size, and just return it to Amazon if you end up needing a smaller/bigger one.

I have been wearing them for 2 years now. I have many pairs of glove; but these are comfortable and feel like a second skin. Warm too in mid 30 degree weather

I am a cadet in training with the Police Department, I often have to be outside during cold weather, These gloves are very warm, And they are soft and flexible. I can even use my touch screen phone through them. The only downside I can see someone having with these is they take a little while to fully wear in

The quality of the gloves is fine. However, I found that the manufacturer is making the "small" size longer in the finger lenghts compared to previous pairs that I have purchased locally. It's probably best to be able to try on prior to purchasing.

These gloves are great. I have some Hatch cool tac which I used during the summer however as you can guess they don't really work well in the winter. I was looking for some that would be better for the cold, but at the same time would allow me to use them while shooting. I stumbled across these, and am very happy I purchased them. I bought the cool tac in large however I purchased these in small. I feel these run larger than some of the other Hatch gloves as I just mentioned and would recommend trying them on to see what size fit you feel most comfortable with. Due to the neoprene material it also protects against the wind which is a major factor where I work. Around 30 degrees it provides some protection, but they don't keep my hands warm if I'm outside to long around that temperature or colder. My hands do also get cold easily though. I've had to buy 2 pairs of these gloves so far as I lost one of the gloves one day, and I'm not sure what happened to it. Overall very satisfied, and if I lost another glove I would definitely buy these again.

I am a little disappointed in the glove because I expected the glove to be a little more thicker. But over all quality and construction of the glove is excellent. The glove has excellent grip and flexibility, seems pretty durable.

I am ordering another pair,

I order these to replace my last pair of "hunting" gloves. They work great, fit snug and are decent in the cold. 2 things to point out - they are fine in the cold as long as you are not handling something that is cold or is metal, the hand/palm material is just a thin layer of leather. Also, they are sized a little big - if you have medium to large hands I would recommend the medium. Fun part of the gloves is they work with my touch screen on my iPhone. I plan on buying a second pair.

I've tried lots of tactical gloves over the years but these gloves are the only ones that hold up to moderate to heavy use. I've tried flight gloves, Other Hatch Tactical gloves, but the stitching seems to wear out very fast or there is too much padding in the palm that changes the position of your handgun/grip. These gloves are the closest thing to keeping your original shooting grip. Buy the right size and they feel like second skin on your hands.CONs:ONLY CAUTION is they are neoprene so if you work in a hot climate you may not like them. Keep in mind melt factor as well around flames. PROs: cost less than other tactical gloves that dont hold up. last longer than most tactical gloves. closest thing to keeping your original grip on weapons systems. Easy to grab other equipment off your tac rig.

Initial thoughts,

First thing i did was water test these under running water the backside of the glove or hand, i was wearing them, the water beaded up and rolled off, it is wetsuit material the palm side is leather but i didn't get that "wet" hand feeling, also there is a nice gripped area on the heel of the palm area. This is great when you are wet and trying to draw your handgun. I carry a CZ-p01 and my grips are rubber and the combination of my grips and the heel of the palm area grippy area makes for an unbeatable combo. I felt like I couldn't drop my gun if i wanted to. The fingers are a good tight fit for me and had no problem with trigger access. great pair of gloves.

I have small hands,(7" from wrist to tip of middle finger)ring finger size is 8.5 My leather GI utility gloves are a size 2!It's crazy hard to find a good fitting glove. I usually have to purchase a medium and deal with fingers that are too long. These things fit perfect! Even the damn pinky finger is the right length. The synthetic leather palm material is grippy but not heavy. The neoprene back keeps hands warm in at least 30 degrees (so far). I can type and text in these things without serious errors, and as for shooting-Perfect feel and grip! No knuckle protection is the only thing holding these back from a perfect score! These would also make excellent driving or scuba diving gloves, and the price is so good I plan to buy more to keep as spares! |
