We purchased this unit as an addition for a basement game room we put together for our kids for Christmas. (Skeeball, air hockey and basketball.) I feel after our experience putting them all together we can give a pretty honest review. This unit was a nightmare to put together and the directions are horrid. I want to say it took about 5 hours. And not everything goes together as they state. Per the directions and pictures, the white track, which comes in two pieces so you can fold it, is supposed to abut seamlessly, however it has about an inch gap between the two. Luckily it does not affect game play. FYI, the edge of the ball release is SHARP. My daughter and I both had a major cut from it, so check surfaces. Also balls tend to get stuck in the return. It all sounds pretty negative, but in all honesty we love this game! The unit works as intended and is so much fun! Who doesn't love skeeball? In response to the one previous reviewer, it does not come with an AC adaptor and is run on battery only. At first I was disappointed too, but battery life seems to be acceptable and I love having no cords. I would purchase this unit again, because it is so much fun for a young family, but I wanted to be honest in presenting the negatives as well, especially since there is only one other review.

I was hesitant to purchase this skeeball table because there were only one or two reviews and they were not that good. However, the skeeball table went on sale and had free shipping through Amazon Prime so I took a chance on it. I am so glad I did! I bought it for my kids (11, 8 & 3), and they love it. The game is very sturdy and folds nicely when you need to move it out of the way. The score board works great for 2 players and scores accurately. The balls are hollow plastic balls so you don't need to worry about hard balls thrown through your walls. The only negatives are that it took my husband about 4 hours to put together, the ball scoring holes are made from one plastic molded sheet which should be made thicker and (like the other reviews I read) sometimes tha balls get stick on a piece of wood inside the game. However, the balls getting stuck doesn't happen very often and they are easy to just pull out. Overall, for the price of the skeeball table I am very pleased. From a quality standpoint it certainly won't last forever but my kids will certainly get our money's worth and more out of it.

It's a great product but will take a LONG time to put together. Not every think links correctly so you have to take time to really get it setup correctly. For the price was it worth it, yes, have had several parties and everyone enjoys it.

I'm a little different than other reviewers. I didn't get this for kids. I got it for myself. I enjoy skee ball in the arcade so I wanted something at home. This game is actually lot harder than the arcade because the ball is smaller and has less weight. I wish they would of given a heavier ball but I guess they felt it might cause damage. It requires 4 double A batteries. It has a hole for a ac adapter but you will have to buy your own. My Advice is just use batteries, if you stick in a too powerful adapter, it will blow out the electronics. It features a 2 player game. First player 1 will play 6 balls and a score will be recorded then second player goes. You can restart game by pressing the button located at the ball rack. Now I will give you advice on how to build this. This is what you will need before even beginning.

1. medium size screw driver(star kind, not flat)
2. electric/portable screw driver (not necessary but you will WISH you had one)
3. loctite stik'n seal indoor adhesive(in case reinforcement bar cracks while putting the screws in)
4. a stool (sit on while working on this)
5. knee pads
6. usps packaging tape(can be purchased at local grocery store)
7. paint masking tape (get it at home depot/lowes)

First thing you want to do is check to make sure you have all the parts. I would write the name of the part on the piece itself. so for a p9 board. label it p9. that will make it easier. The instructions will seem really complicated but once you understand how things work. it will be simple. There is really not that many parts. Just a couple of side boards, couple of top and bottom boards and some legs. This thing is set up in 2 halves. So first the instructions will make you build the bottom half. And then later then top half.

A couple variations from the instructions and the sticker was kinda messed up at the top part, but all in all, nicely built. I used some clear tape to fix the sticker, no big deal (kids will tear it up shortly anyway).. I hate that it doesn't have the 2 ball holes (one on left and one on right) instead of all of them in a row but not a deal breaker. We put this together at my office, everyone played (we were testing it out for the kidos). I did see a comment that it didn't have the wall plug in the D6 (but that doesn't come standard, you have to use batteries), I believe the plug in is an option for you to purchase on your own, which you could get anywhere.. heck you probably have one lying around your house. Bottom line, Kids love it so I love it.
