The iron sights are easily adjusted and easy to aim.

This gun is very well made and the recoil and accuracy are quite good considering the strength of the spring being cocked.

Even though it has an adjustable trigger it could be a few pounds less on the trigger pull pressure.

Accurate single shot Breakbarrel that can use all types of .22 cal pellets. This is a powerful airgun and even with the cocking aid it requires some serious effort to cock. It will damage pellet traps like the Leapers UTG Accushot and Crosman 852 designed for .177 cal BBs and pellets. The sights are adjustable front for elevation and the rear for windage and elevation and there is also an 11mm dovetail to mount a red dot finder or scope. The open sights are very good so you really don't need a finder. The grip is right handed.

I like the way the gun feels despite the 20" length (18" without extension) it is well balanced. The extension threads on so I leave it in place when I am shooting. The extension reduces cocking effort but is still a bear to cock though with use it is easing up some. The two stage adjustable trigger is nice and the recoil reduction system does its job.

I bought mine direct from Pyramyd Air. So far so good I like and would recommend The Hatsan Model 25, one reminder this gun is hard to cock.

This is the most powerful pistol I have and I have many. This gun is very well made and the recoil and accuracy are quite good considering the strength of the spring being cocked. This is also a very large pistol. If there was a shoulder stock available like the ones for the Crosman 22xx guns it would make a very good cabine. As others have said this gun is VERY hard to cock even with the cocking aid. That is why I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star. It can be made easier if you use your legs to help sqeeze the barrel when cocking. Unless you are a very strong person this is not an all day shooter. But if you want a powerful, accurate and well made gun this is one to consider.

Where to start?
This pistol has far exceeded my expectations and I've own plenty air guns and pistols.
Out the box it's pretty accurate and after about 500 rounds it will get more accurate. In .22 caliber crosman premier hollow points(14.6 grain)fit tight into the barrel which means accuracy.there are chrony results on youtube with 18.9 grain pellets pushing 580 feet per second.I have no doubts that its a true 600 feet per second gun.
Personally I like the weight of the gun,a very nice feel with soft grips.I opted for the Hatsan .22 air stripper and it does not seem to affect accuracy at all.

I'd like to see a longer barrel,18" bull barrel with a shoulder stock.i tried a crosman shoulder stock on it and with minor mods its possible so it's on my to do list, make a sweet lil carbine and the longer barrel will produce more feet per second.the barrel is made in Turkey, say what you want but turkey makes fine barrels.so I'm on the quest for a barrel, problly gonna try one from the Hatsan 125th rifle.
And the adjustable trigger is smooth, feels flawless from the factory.

Only issue was out the box the gold plating peeled off the trigger........who cares
I feel other airgun makers should follow the standards Hatsan uses.i can't wait to see where this design will be in a couple years.
I have no doubt that this gun will drop squirrels and rabbits. Its putting out just a lil more power than my benjamin 392 .22 rifle.with a shoulder stock I don't think I will have any issues dropping adult rabbits at 20 yards open sites.
Btw the sites are very nicely set up too.
Nothing to complain about on my end.
The recoil assist set up is very effective at holding accuracy also.
Standing hold I can pull 1" groups at 10 yards, that's great in my book.

Far exceeded my expectations and well worth the change. This thing will destroy pellet traps

Accurate out of the box. Didn't even need to adjust the great, fiber optic sights.Very good accuracy with Crosman Premier.22 . Cocking is not extremely hard, but not something a kid could do. Barrel extension (included) is a must for cocking so once installed, can't store the gun in its box.Recoil reduction system takes the weird clank away and makes it feel more like a Nitro piston. This is a large gun, not one you can holster .
Very satisfied with the purchase.

Put it over a chrony and find out it shoots at claimed velocities with lead pellets, accurate too.I planning on mounting optics, make sure it has sturdy mounts, the recoil of this pistol is prone to move many a dot or scope. This is even with the "anti-recoil" device built into the pistol.

This was a bear to cock to begin with but it gets easier. With the iron sights I am putting all my shots about a nickle at 10 yards. Do not like shooting it closer than that because the pellets try to stack and bounce off my target. I highly recommend this pistol. Great trigger pull and very accurate. My only complaint is it is hard to cock and I get tired before I am tired of shooting it. Great fun but hard to cock. But that is good. Very powerful. My 3rd Hatson product. Well built, accurate, and powerful. A great accurate powerful springer. The sliding grip takes all the recoil away. A joy to shoot. Their rifles are hard to cock too. That is because they shoot fast. Ordered a red dot for this and can not wait for it to arrive. The iron sights are easily adjusted and easy to aim. The trigger pull is very nice. A Quatro. have not adjusted it yet. Waiting on my red dot and breaking it in.
