Kozmic Diamond,

This review is from: Igo Hatsuyo-ron, Classical Life and Death Problems (Paperback)
This work the best this amateur master [AGA 3-dan] has ever seen. Dan-level, actually 'tis pro level but us amateurs can read it for our pleasure & profit. I go straight for the solutions just to see the highest level of game logic. The harmonious evolution of the universe requires that the remaining two volumes of problems should also be published in English. At 9 kyu the barbarian [like me] player needs Ishida's masterful 3 volumes on _joseki_. At 1 dan, go for this life-time treasure.

This review is from: Igo Hatsuyo-ron, Classical Life and Death Problems (Paperback)
This is a book that contains all the classic problems in one of the oldest game in existence. For advance players, it is an amusing site to see what is accepted as dead to come alive, and what is alive is killed. For beginner, this book is the first step to start learning about Life and Death in the game of go. A skill that must be master in order ro achieve the highest level in Go. This book improve the reader about 3 kyus level for begginners and 1 for 5kyu and above.
