This hammock is the most comfortable hammock I've ever had the pleasure of being on. I much prefer the cloth over regular rope hammocks. It is a very stable hammock, easy to get on (and stay on) and easy to get off. I would recommend this hammock to anyone looking to purchase!

this haaammock is definitly superior in comfort to the tradional rope one--no contest--however, if you leave yours outside despite rainy weather, you will find the rain puddling in the middle, and that area becoming discolored.. so what we did was to flip it over to the all green side

THIS IS A PERFECT HAMMOCK! It's more comfortable then laying in bed. I bought this for my husband last summer for his birthday along with a great hammock stand. The whole family has really enjoyed this hammock! It is very strong, my husband, me and our 4 small children have all been in it at one time and we felt secure the whole time. The quilted fabric is so comfortable to lay on, like being on a cloud. The roping is very strong and looks nice and dries quickly if it gets wet. (I recommend not leaving it out at night or when it's raining though.) The only thing that we noticed about this hammock is how hot it gets if it's left out in the hot sun all day. If it's to hot, we just flip it over to the other side and lay on that side. THIS HAMMOCK IS A MUST FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GREAT NAP PLACE IN THE SPRING/SUMMER/OR FALL. My boys say it makes a great pretend boat, too. :)

The hammock is a great choice if you like sharing it with you significant other or by yourself. It's very sturdy and comfortable, even with two adults. The quality of hammock is good and worth the price, especially compared to other models we looked at.

I got this hammock back in November, so I don't know if this hammock will be good for summer, but it is the perfect hammock for winter! My fiance and I could nap in it all afternoon with a couple of pillows and a blanket in the middle of winter. It is very comfortable even with 2 people on it. The surface seems to be semi water resistance. We left it out in the rain a few times and most of the water stay on top of the surface. We just turn the hammock, dump out the water, and it dried under the sun in a few hours. I read somewhere that the green stripes will fade over time, but I can live with it.

I use my hammock about 75% of the year and find it extremely comfortable. It was bit expensive but I guess in the long run it will be worth it. I have had mesh hammocks that only last one season. I think this one is going to last for years.

This is a very neat hammock. It is very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. It does of course not allow air to flow through like a rope hammock, but is so much more comfortable. I also bought the matching pillow and really enjoy the lazy summer evenings now. I roll mine up and bring it inside when I'm not using it, which is quick and easy to do and will make it last that much longer. It will hold to adults, but is a little crowded.

For me, the notion of summer is synonymous with outdoor living and enjoying the beauty I have surrounding me in my lovely rural New Hampshire abode. What better way is there for a confirmed lazybones like me to relax in the breezy stillness of the evening than to wile away the hour or so before suppertime in my new Hatteras Hammock? I am a recent convert to it now that I can enjoy the hammock in the comfort of my screened-in farmers' porch, and the Labrador Retrievers sometime think I am a playful target they can pester to their hearts' content as I attempt to snooze for a while. It does indeed provide the stealthy napper with a perfect escape, quite relaxing with a gentle swinging motion and a lovely free-floating mid-air suspension that seems to float you as you slowly swing, or not. Sailors never had it so good!

The hammock is very sturdy and quite well made, made from a quilted fabric that is both weather-resistant and 100 percent durable polyester rope. It also features solid oak spreaders for strength and flexibility in the fabric, and well-manufactured double zinc-plated hardware for hanging the hammock itself. It is large enough to snuggle in with a companion or a grandchild, and I have had a furry friend jump up to join me a few times as well, although they tend to not appreciate its swinging motion a great deal. With care and winter storage, this hammock should last the intrepid afternoon snoozer with a perfect escape from the cares of the world for years and years to come. Enjoy!

Down here in southern Mississippi you can sit inside with the AC in summer or hang a hammock in the shade - but this is my best one ever and probably my last one since it's so lightweight I prefer to carry it in out of the weather even though it's so durable. I've had several rope hammocks to replace each year but this durable fabric one cannot be beat. The grandbaby loves it!

This is just what I wanted, and what I ordered because of the description. It was Just what it said it was, and the buying experience was flawless. I would suggest them for anything.
