Fabric is rough. Quilted Hatteras hammock in green/linen stripe is softer to the touch. Straps are stitched together every 3rd or 4th row, so fabric does not have much "give." Flax color has greenish tint-not the taupe/oatmeal color I expected.

It's a well made product, but not nearly as comfortable as I expected. It is large and well constructed, but the material, is not what I expected. It's a rough surface, that's rather ridged, instead of soft and fluffy as it seems in the picture. It's not worth the money in my opinion. If it were easier to return and wasn't a gift I deffinatly would have returned it.

A beautiful accent to our yard, well constructed, COMFORTABLE. The first hatteras hammock and pillow, purchased 4 years ago, are still in the fine shape as when purchased; no wear visible. The purchases were through Amazon; delivery was on time and well packaged.
