I ordered one of these hammocks several years ago for our vacation home where it has taken a lot of abuse and been well used. It's still in great condition (we even accidentally left it out in the winter snow for a month!) Top quality hammock. Wouldn't consider anything else. Easy to maintain, just hose it down when necessary, doesn't fade, sag or lose it's shape and is super comfortable for two people. Buying another one today for our other home! Well worth the price!

This item is both beautiful and sturdy. We can both (2 adults) fit on the hammock and can lay independently without rolling to the center. It's very durable and well-made.

I bought this Hatteras hammock to replace a Pawley's Island hammock whose support bar broke after a few years. I wanted a hammock that was truly comfortable to lie in for a nap or to read a book and this one is perfect. It looks good and is restful and very soft to lie in. I was already pretty sure I would like this hammock before I purchased it as a neighbor has one down the street I often admire; however, when I got it I was even more impressed. The fabric is plush and just soft enough to make falling asleep easy. The thickness makes you think it would be hot but the woven style allows for breathing & the breeze to hit your back. The fabric is a bit "scratchy" at first but that canvas aspect makes it perfect for poolside lounging, quick drying and I imagine it will continue to break-in with time.

The only reason I gave this hammock a 4 star and not a 5 is due to the lack of true longevity it holds in its original condition. I, again, know this from the neighbors. Over time the original wooden beam at each end will deteriorate in the weather and need to be replaced by a pipe of some sort; each link in the hammock attaching by carabineer and the rope being replaced with a more durable version through the pipe. The fabric though should hold up just fine if this hammocks holds true to its neighboring example and the "doctor'ed" version does not look bad actually - kind of eclectic & unusual. :)

For now, I am thoroughly impressed & plan to buy another if/when needed. Enjoy the hammock!

This hammock is great. So roomy and comfortable. Like laying on a cloud.
Only negative is that I feel like it has stretched from use.

This looks like a beautiful Hammock and we are eagerly waiting for ours to ship.

While the page says that these are in stock, we have been waiting over 30 days.

We wanted to get this for the summer and ordered it in June, but it is almost August and we don't have it yet.

I wish that Amazon had a way to contact a customer service rep about problems like this.

Good construction quality, comfortable and easy to use as compared to a traditional rope hammock. If hanging from an 8' ceiling the as shipped chains are a little short as the hammock will hang about 5' off the ground.

I bought this hammock last year and found that the weave moves apart in some areas and bunches up in others when you lay on in. The user has to get off the hammock to redistribute the fabric with their hands. Also the hammock becomes a sail if left out in any sort of breeze which made the stand and hammock tip over with a child in it! The stitching that holds the weave together broke and now there are tears near the grommets. I bought this after reading the other reviews. It is comfortable (until the weave moves, or the hammock is blown over by the wind, or the stitching is frayed) it does not wear well, but it does dry quicker than a cotton hammock however, I suggest you use you money for something else.

I love this hammock and its accessories. What a high quality product! Would not change a thing. And I bought pillow and stand as well.

it fits the two of us and our dog, super comfy and theres still plenty of room. no one is squished. i tried a few others and returned them. this is the best. but its VERY large so you need lots of space.
