As a HUGE fan of the Kill Bill movies I have been looking to get my hands on a Hanzo sword for years now. When I saw this product online I thought that it was too good to be true. I was ecstatic to open the box and find a solid and polished replica. The replicators didn't skimp on style. It is the same size and shape as on the movies and it has some good weight behind it to let you know that it's not a cheap knock-off that'll fall to pieces if you bump it too hard. It's not too sharp (as expected) and it looks great on its included display stand. Excellent conversation piece. Would definitely recommend to any true Kill Bill fan or sword collector.

My boyfriend is a MAJOR kill bill fan. As well as swords and well any weapon like this. I was unsure about ordering them with out being able to look at them and hold them first. But I took a chance and i am so so glad that i did. They are truly beautiful swords. My boyfriend is 28 and he has been like a little boy over them. Not make sure you understand, These are not swords that you will be running in the back yard fighting with. They are for display (or running around posing silly with) (yeah my boyfriend did that :)) But for the display they are great. Of course if you go out and spend several hundred or thousand on a sword it will be much better quality. But if you are looking for a nice display or just a beautifully affordable sword you should 100% think about these

For $35 this is a fine display set of swords as shipped. The blades come dull as expected. They would only crush a cardboard box. I decided to try to sharpen the blades. I used a 5-inch orbital sander, starting with grit (120) then (240). I worked on each sword until I had roughly a 35-degree cutting edge then used my Accusharp knife sharpener on the blades and both blades pass the paper test easily.
These blades bend easily so don't try to slice up hard objects.
You could use these for personal defense after sharpening if the other person does not have a gun. I would then go for my 357 but it could cause collateral damage.
The blades are .185 inches thick at the Habaki (blade collar). My (4) other Katana's are between .270 and .285 and they are carbon steel not stainless.
Each sword weighs about 26 oz.
For $35 this IMO is a great buy.

I purchase these as a gift to my girlfriend since she loved the movies. I was not expecting anything more then display pieces. They are just that, very nice for display purpose. They are no where near the real thing. Not full tang. No ray skin. No quality steel. However, The saya (scabbards) are beautiful and they make the display stand out far better then other Kill Bill sayas/swords such as the Musashi kill bill (demon). If you loved the movies, are not into collecting swords and just want them to look nice on you wall or table as conversation pieces, these are the swords for you.

These are good replica swords, and from a foot or two away they look really good when sitting in their display stand. Any close scrutiny will reveal imperfections, such as the designs on the scabbards have some blemishes and aren't shining with brilliance. The swords come slightly oiled and have some gunk on them so you'll want to wipe them down. The stand is adequate, putting it together is a very tight squeeze but I managed. As others have noted, the swords are not sharp at all, I mean no one even tried to sharpen them, so don't expect something that will cut bamboo stalks. On the side opposite the design, the blades say 'CHINA'.
If you're looking for a basic "looks good on the wall" display, these are perfect. If you want sharp swords and a perfect design, you'll probably have to spend quite a lot more money. For $50 dollars (with shipping at time of my purchase) these are exactly what I expected. I can't give them 5 stars only because I know there are much better quality swords out there.

I had no idea what to get my dad for Christmas. My brother collects swords, so I usually get him one from his favorite anime, but my dad loves Tarantino movies. And my dad's one who will not tell me what to get him for Christmas, so out of frustration and a split second decision, I threw these into my shopping cart. When they arrived, I was really pleased with them, they were beautiful! I love Kill Bill myself, so I knew what they were supposed to look like and I especially love that they came with the stand and they look nice displayed on them. But as Christmas came closer, I began to panic, thinking I'd gotten him something stupid and should have thought about it harder (which I should have : P). Luckily, on Christmas morning, he opened them up and loved them! He laughed for like five minutes straight, but he was so surprised, he thought it was funny and now they are displayed on our fireplace mantle. So overall, I'm very pleased with how it turned out and the swords were a great product!

I bought these for my brother and I for Christmas since we are both huge Kill Bill fans. They arrived a couple of days ago and they seems pretty great for 40 dollars! The Bride sword has the logo on the blade that looks perfect. The Bill sword had the demon logo on the sheath NOT the blade but again still looks good because it is mostly for decoration. Only complaints are that there is a big "Made in China" inscription on the blade but that is to be expected. Would recommend to any Kill Bill fan!!

the one problem that made me sad was the engraving is practically printed on maybe scratched in a little but not like the picture.

The swords came in as promised. This was a gift and was a great success. The swords were in excellent condition. One of the scabbers had a small indentation that was not from shipping. All in all I was pleased with my purchase.

The decor is excellent product for very good, very good condition, is the best thing I bought, great run out of words when you open it.
