I just got it today and I must say it was worth the money. It is very sharp. The only problem with it was that when you put it back in its sheath and take it out it has this white wax film in spots. Its easy enough to clean off and it will go away after a while. Another problem was that the stand gave me splinters. This sword is ment for some use, but dont try to go whacking away at things for hours. I sugest this for any collector out there, or even a kill bill fan.

I just got it today, i ordered it on 2/15/2010 and got it on the 2/19/2010, i got it in great condition, perfect weight, no crappy plastic parts, and its pretty sharp, well at least mine for the price this sword is way under price and its totality worth it.

This was a christmas present for my boyfriend. He loved it. He said its a great display sword but not good for actual use as it would be too fragile. Nonetheless he loves it!!! Kill Bill is one of his favorite movies and he does sword fighting.

This was a gift to my husband, who loves the Kill Bill movies, and also knives and swords. I did well. It got me the award of being a Cool Wife. I love that! The price is right, too. I like the sword because it can be displayed in an alcove (out of reach of children) and adds to the style of our family room. A great conversation piece. The fact that it is a real sword and it is sharp, adds to the appeal of the sword.

I got the Bride Sword for my son last year so I got this one for him this year. Except for the symbol etched on the blade it looks like the same exact sword. Maybe the movie swords are also the same, I don't know but it does seem redundant to get both. I do think it is a great deal for the price even with the high shipping cost which is acceptable considering the size and shape of the box. Great packaging by the way.

Over all I'm satisfied but I would not have bought it if I knew it was nearly a clone of the bride sword.

Ok i could not wait to type this!!! i have been a amazon shoper for some time now and this by far has been the best buy yet this does not look like the pic it looks better however the devil mark on the blade looks like a sticker not engraved!! this is important but you can get around that when you feel the weight and the force of the blade made in china but 440 STEAL very strong slicing mellons and mats will be no problem the sheath was made very nice and comes with no stand but who cares with the money you saved from not buying this item in the store witch is three times as much you can get three sword stands on amazon lol works out

I'm writing this review as I have just received the sword. Thankfully to say, it has exceeded my expectations. After reading such poor reviews, I was skeptical of purchasing this but wanted a Hattori Hanzo sword at a cheap cost so bad that I had to buy it. There is good weight to the sword and the blade is straight (surprise surprise from other negative reviews!). The blade is dull but I wasn't expecting anything else. It actually feels pretty nice in the hands and looks very good. Includes Bill's demon logo printed on the scabbard and on the blade. Unfortunately "China" is also written on the other side of the blade but whatever this was only $26. It DOES come with a stand. I was very skeptical about it actually coming but its made of wood painted black and comes in three pieces. Not awesome, but hey at least you don't have to go buy a stand. Overall, for what you're paying, this is a great buy. Just don't expect an EXACT replica or a functional weapon.

its not a bad sword realy but the blade wiggles in place if you move the sword around, and i realy dont like that. Also the hand wrapping came loose as soon as my hand gripped it. And another thing is, this sword isn't even a katana it is actually a tachi (witch is very similar to a katana but a katana is worn on the belt cutting edge up and a tachi is worn cutting edge down...hard to explain) i realy would not reccomend this to any body who knows much about how katanas (or even tachi's) should be. If this will be the first sword you have ever owned...or even held, then get it if you wish, but i would try getting somthing else.

Amazing quality for a $25 sword the blade is dull which is good since I've never wielded a sword before so its good for now so I can practice without having to worry about cutting things or accidentally cutting myself. It also has a good weight, and is pretty study. Overall I give it a perfect 10/10. Its worth more than $25 I'll say!

My dad is a Kill Bill fan and he was so excited to receive this gift for Xmas. I believe the engravement on the blade really set it off. I had a few problems with glue globs on the sword case and pieces fallen off, but I purchased super glue and made the necessary repairs before gift wrapping! I was upset to see the condition it arrived in, but the look on my dads face made it all worthwhile. I would recommend this sword to others!
