first i wanted to go with a travel system, but since i have heard and read so much about how it is not good for baby's back to sit in a carrier/carseat in the first months (except for short shopping trips, or to the doctor) i decided to buy a stroller that comes with a bassinett. so i was trying to find one within our budget, which wasn't easy. then i found this one. i chose it out of the i'coo, the first years wave and the britax b-ready which were all more expensive.

good brandname, all the features i wanted (i liked the icoo in the first place, same brand, maybe higher quality, but also a lot more expensive) and a decent price.
the only thing i need to buy extra is a carseat, but that's ok, so i have the choice.

it came in pieces and was not too hard to assemble, just the instructions were not correct since they haven't changed them from the old model. 2 screws were also missing, so i couldn't put the bassinett stand together, but the very friendly costumer service took care of it.

after knowing why i had problems setting everything up (because of the missing pieces) it was easy.
i just got it and our baby is due in september, but what i can say already:

features i love

-super light
-easy to steer
-easy to assemble
-all fabric parts can be taken off easily and are washable
-decent quality for very low price
-i love the huge canopy
-soft fabrics
-the chair is reclinable to almost flat level
- good size bassinett, good height too, so the baby can sleep next to our bed
-good customer service

these are the things i really love, but i like pretty much everything about it so far.

i would like it even better:

-it doesn't swivel (like the first years wave) that would be really nice extra.
-the instructions go with the old model...please change that mr hauck
- the handle ist not adjustable- i am short so i don't care, but if you are on the taller side, it might be to low for you!

all together i can really recommend this stroller so far- for under 300$ a perfect buy.

SUMMARY: Bad instructions, tools aren't accommodating, UNIVERSAL car seat adapter is NOT universal. Bassinet wasn't very secure when attached to stoller and was bumpy.

Was excited to get a stroller/bassinet/car seat stroller. Was a little hesitant since this is a new item and didn't have many reviews. Took the plunge and figured "how bad could it be?"...

Well, upon receiving the stroller the instruction manual didn't even match the stroller. Apparently it's from their old line so we immediately thought we were missing pieces. The instructions have NO text, pictures only. Tried to visit the website for some additional instructions, and found a video with a man speaking. YES!!! Turn on the speakers.... "WHAT!!!! He's talking but we can only hear MUSIC!!" What's the point?? So it was basically the same instructions put in motion to some nice music. Didn't ease our struggles putting this thing together.

Included was a screwdriver and wrench to assemble the bassinet holder. After figuring out where they were supposed to go; turns out the wrench isn't the proper shape to get the screw/nut into place. We then hunted around the house and didn't find ANYTHING that would fit to get this thing in. So we moved on.

After getting the wheels on the stroller and realizing how the UNIVERSAL car seat adapter is put on, we then tried to place our Britax B-Safe on it, and it didn't even come close.

Back in the box, getting returned.

I have been wanting a stroller like this since I found out I was pregnant but after searching for hours I couldn't find ANYTHING in my price range!!! Strollers like this are on the upwards of $800, so when I found this, I HAD TO BUY IT!!! I am not disappointed at all! I disagree completely with the other reviewer who thinks the bassinet doesn't feel secured, I think it totally does! If I didn't I would have returned it the second I bought it! The only con of the stroller would be the instructions. They were absolutely terrible. If you are having difficulty with putting it together, go to the Hauck website and find the instructional manual there. For some reason, there is more information on that one.

Just the other day (after three months of use) the lever that allows the stroller to be folded down broke. I called the company I bought it from and they got the US rep for Hauck get into contact with me, they are shipping the part now. She told me if I can't figure it out or if it doesn't fix the problem to call and she will send me another stroller! WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE on their end!

I get sooo many compliments on this stroller and feel so "classy" when I'm walking around with my son :) It's truly a beautiful stroller and I really love it, I'm a proud owner and would recommend it to anyone!

I was looking for a modern looking well priced stroller for my son and then I found this one. In the begining I liked it since it had a bassinet for my imfant but even then i had a problem getting to the basket. as time went on the foam on the handlebar got completely distroyed (thru light use). another major problem i had with this stroller was that my sons head kept bumping into the side and he even developed a bump, it was very scary. my back wheel also fell apart. i did get these parts replaced after 2 weeks of waiting. I was misled by the look and reveiws of this stroller and I would like to spare anyone else the frusteration.

This stroller is a great buy! I researched strollers for a few months before buying this one for our daughter. The reviews about the instructions had me worried, however, once it arrived, I was able to put it together very easily. Common sense helped along with the directions. She wanted the Petrol color and I wasn't sure about it. She was right! It's a beautiful teal. She isn't due until September but she's practiced with her friend's child and said the stroller maneuvers very well. She gave it an A+.
Before buying this, I looked at the Inglesina Classica, the Orbit Baby, and even the Silver Cross Balmoral Pram strollers. If she had wanted one of these, I would have bought it for her but the Hauck Malibu is the one she chose. She's our only daughter and having our first grandchild so we've been going a bit overboard, lol. Have to say I did appreciate that this stroller does not make the dent that the others would have in my pocketbook.

I received this as a baby shower gift from a family friend who wanted to get my stroller. I've done a lot of research on strollers and really didn't want a travel system just because I wanted something modern... I really wanted a reversible seat for when my baby gets older but the bassinet-pram cuts it for now. I'm young and don't drive yet, but for bus travel it don't seem to bad to use. It is very easy to push, kinda light and really wasn't hard to put together... Okay well maybe that's because I am "handy" when it comes to putting most stuff together since i was a young child...
I haven't actually used the stroller yet since my daughter isn't due for another 2 weeks, but from what I have got from it, I like it. I like that you can use it as a bassinet so that was 1 less item to buy or worry about getting, which means I don't need to worry about getting the crib together for another few months n_n it's pretty sturdy and seems safe. I like it. No complaints so far, lets see how this goes after the baby comes

this stroller is AMAZING! i LOVE IT ! I've used the bassinet ever since my baby was born and it's helped me in so many ways, and lets not forget of how adorable it looks. i always get complements on my stroller and my baby every where i go people get curious to see who's inside the adorable bassinet, it also holds up a good amount of weight i recommend this its truly amazing.

Out of all our baby items...a light stroller was our top researched item. Although there wasn't much reviews when I purchased it, overall the price and different things it came with is why we choose this one. I have been using it for about 5 months now. I have to say it has been our favorite baby item. We got the plum color. The bassinet we used up to almost 3 1/2 months (until she outgrew the bassinet and we would wake up with her feet hanging out of it!) Honestly, we never used the stand. We just left the bassinet on the stroller part and it was nice to wheel her from room to room with her in the bassinet. Actually the stroller took less space than the stand did. It was very easy to attach/remove the bassinet to the stroller. When it came to the car seat, we had no problems attaching the adaptor since it was a universal adaptor. We have a graco snugfit carseat and it fit fine. They could've made it so that the stroller folds without taking the adaptor out first but its not that big of a deal. Also, the strap that goes across the car seat to hold it to the adaptor is placed awkardly in the middle. I am 5'1 and 110lbs and its light to with the weight of the stroller to put in my honda CRV. And yes the instructions it comes with sucks but theres YouTube videos so see it better. So far, we havent had any problems with it, and have had so many compliments and people think its the $1000+ brands. So far its been a great purchase and for everything it comes with its an amazing price.
