5.0 out of 5 stars Haunted History with an interesting and unique twist!, March 12, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Haunted Alton: History & Hauntings of the Riverbend Region (Paperback)
I have a lot of Troy Taylor books, because I live about 10 minutes away from Alton. Troy is a nice man, so ignore the ignorant comments of people who wrote in, because they don't know him! This book tells about several Historical Hauntings that happen in this region. It have everything from the Civil War ghosts, to Elijah Lovejoy. You'll be happy you bought and read this wonderful book by a wonderful man. I also recomend Season of the Witch. You'll love it-I did!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book, June 20, 2001

This is an errie book. It sent chills down my spine when I read it. --If you are interested in seeing these places, I discovered that Alton has a special tour of the homes in Taylor's book. It is a neat town to visit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative and entertaining, April 3, 2000
This review is from: Haunted Alton: History & Hauntings of the Riverbend Region (Paperback)
As an Alton resident, I can assure you that Mr. Taylor's recent work, Haunted Alton, is a must read for anyone interested in ghosts or the paranormal. I, myself, live in an Alton home built around 1840, and so, have experienced many of the happenings that Mr. Taylor so redily explains.
