Hi-- I am the author of the Anna Strong Vampire Chronicles.

I have joined the ranks of so many authors who are putting stories up on Amazon. My first venture is an Anna Strong novella called Cloud City. The story takes place in Leadville, CO. I hope you'll give it a read and please, let me know what you think of it!

The ninth book in the Anna Strong series, Blond Bond, has now gone through final edits. I'm still waiting for the cover art. As soon as I get it, so will you.

My collaboration with San Diego author Samantha Sommersby is proceeding, too. We don't have a finalized cover for that one, either. But the book will be called Cursed, the first in the Fallen Siren series. It will be released under the pseudonym S. J. Harper. I am excited to announce that both Blood Bond and Cursed will be released in the fall.

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of Haunted from the Publisher for review. I settled in with the tale on a trip out of town and almost missed several set meet up times because I couldn't put it down!

Haunted is basically an action movie set to paper with a leading lady to rival Jennifer Garner, Angelina Jolie, or any of the other action heroines out there that we so love.

Our favorite gun-toting, 'what you see is what you get' PI/Vampire is thrown into a devastatingly dangerous situation with her friend and shapeshifter Culebra and ex and DEA agent Max. What starts out as a favor for a friend, turns into a huge ordeal full of Mexican drug cartels, child sex/slavery rings, and more. It's one hurdle after another for Anna and her gang, and NOTHING is as it seems!

During the ordeal, Anna & Culebra gain a few unexpected allies and new friends, Max proves that he's not quite the jerk that we thought he was, Anna makes sacrifices yet again to save her friends and the innocent, and in the end... the good guys win... um... sort of.

This book was intense and the end had my heart rate elevated immensely and a look of utter shock on my face. I can't tell you more without ruining it, but it was OH SO GOOD!!

Haunted was action packed, emotion filled, & utterly fantastic!! While I suggest reading the entire series, Haunted can definitely be read as a stand alone novel.

LITERAL ADDICTION gives Haunted 5 Skulls and would recommend it to everyone! Urban Fantasy lovers need to check into the Anna Strong Chronicles, it's a journey you won't regret!

Culebra was a big part of HAUNTED. We get to dig into his past and help him out with the problems that his past is now causing.

Anna is one of my favorite heroines. I always enjoy seeing others underestimate Anna and her coming in to kick their asses. I do miss seeing Anna doing her bounty hunting. She is hunting someone in HAUNTED but I miss her working with her partner and I hope he is back to being by her side at some point in the next book. Anna's love life is kinda wonky in HAUNTED. She starts off happy in a relationship only to have that end. Then at the end of the book she makes a decision that will hopefully make her happy again with someone I really want her to be with. I'm excited about that decision and what it might bring in book 9. The action as always is non stop with non stop heart racing situations. We get visits from Anna's parents and niece, Frey and his son as well as an ex boyfriend who ends up being a big help in taking down Culebra's enemies alongside Anna. The ending was sad but It felt right.

I have enjoyed following Anna's journey from the time she was attacked and turned until now. Book 9 will be the final book in the Anna Strong series and I'm excited and sad to see what will become of Anna and the rest of my favorite characters from the series.

Yea, that's vampire and bounty hunter Anna Strong for you. She's a bad ass, no mercy kind of girl. And when her friend Culebra's Cartel past comes back to haunt him, Anna doesn't think twice about using her bad ass vampire and bounty hunter skills to help him. Even if it means she has to work with her hot DEA ex boyfriend, Max to get it done.

Now with the Mexican Cartel seeking revenge on Culebra as well as saving young girls from one perverted drug lord, Anna is faced with one of the toughest missions she has to endure, and the vampire in her is ready to get down and bloody.

Haunted is book eight in the Anna Strong Chronicles and while this series is about all about Anna, this book was more about Culebra. I felt like I was reading a script to an action movie. Every step she took was described just so that I could see and hear everything. And although we don't get to see much of her bounty hunter day job here, you do get to see her skills on how she tracks her prey.

I do recommend reading these books in order. So if you want some kick ass vampire in your life, this series is just for you!
