Haunted Hoosier Trails, written by folklorist Wanda Lou Willis, is a compendium of haunted sites in Indiana organized by counties including maps for the most adventurous ghost hunters. Obviously written by a gifted storyteller, each account is brief, but comprehensive. Much research obviously went into the telling of these tales.

The book came really quickly, and was packaged really nicely. There was no damage to the book whatsoever, and I got exactly what I expected. Very pleased!

I bought this book while visiting relatives in Indiana, and it was a great read for the trip. As I traveled to our family reunion, I read stories about the towns we passed through. Some of my relatives were also interested in the book. The book is divided into sections by county. First, it gives historical information about the county. Then, it gives ghost stories for the county. I recommend getting it along with the sequel, More Haunted Hoosier Trails, because the second book elaborates on some things mentioned only briefly in the first.

The tone is like a retelling of something someone said once that they heard might be true. Poorly researched stories compared to other authors in this genre.

I bought a used book...sure would be disappointed if I had paid full price for new.
