This review is from: Haunted Massachusetts (Paperback)
This is a complete disappointment. Not only is this book a rehash of other stories, but I found the prose to be unreadable. This guy needs to go back to school and learn the basic rules of grammar and sentence structure. My advice to anyone who wants to learn about the ghosts of New England is to buy anything Bob Cahill has written on the subject. Don't waste your money on this mess!

I have to say I liked this book from the get go! I enjoyed reading about all the places. Some I knew and some I am now dying to visit! I did find that he wrote about proof in his experiences. Thanks Thomas and again, look forward to the next one!

History or Legends?,
By Peter Yarmouth "Yarmouth" (medford, ma United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Haunted Massachusetts (Paperback)
The combination of more familiar historical locations and erie legends along with the authors penchant for storytelling makes his a fast read. But if you choose to, you can read one city or town at a time.
So sit alone by the fire and hear about Peter Rug, Hannah Magee, and Thomas 's tales of who haunts the Borden house in Fall River and lots more to read about.

You will be able to tell from the get go which locations the author favors. There is good information on the locations but the book lacks photo evidence. Just about all the photos are publicity shots. If you are looking for a reference guide as to where activity might be then this is a good buy.
