I wrote a review yesterday and it hasn't shown up for this book, so I'm trying again. This is a well-written, entertaining book that has been impressively researched. Great read!

Not well written or edited, but it gets the point across. Accurate? Doubtful, but then again most ghost stories are not traceable to historical fact.

I was expecting Ghost Stories, hauntings, and details, but that isn't what I read. I am sorry to say that I think there is a lot more work that can go into this book to make it a good read. I would urge the author to take another look at the work and see where they can make improvements with either interviews from those who know the location or have witnessed the paranormal activities.

I read this out of curiosity since I've visited NYC several times in the past. I definitely felt strange in the Ed Sullivan Theater, as well as St. Pat's Cathedral. Very interesting book, impressively researched and written in a clear, concise style.

When I saw this book, I knew I had to get it being a ghost story buff. But after reading the first few pages, I got disinterested from reading this continuously. Most of the stories are not even worth reading and are based mostly on speculation and other books/newspaper clippings. Some do not even have a hint of ghost or haunting but mostly just telling the story of the location.
