Firstly, this is the EXACT same app released on 12/19/13 by Gogii titled "Haunted Past: A Hidden Object Adventure". If you have not play it previously, I HIGHLY recommend this game. It is an extremely well done mystery.

There is so much to do in each scene; you explore close up areas, collect many inventory items and use them accordingly. There is a lot of back and forth, but it didn't feel like the game was being drawn out. The hint button is very helpful and shows you exactly what to do with written instructions, rather than just point you in the right direction. The graphics are spectacular, some of the best I have seen. The music, voice-overs and ambient sounds are very well done.

There are no loading screens and all actions are very quick with no lag time. The strategy guide is only available if you purchase the full game, but with the great hints, you probably won't need it. There is nothing not to like about this game. The full game unlock is $2.99, which is a great deal since Gogii is still charging $4.99.

Great graphics, storyline, and puzzles. I had trouble getting it to play at times. I downloaded the trial version, then months later bought the full version for $5. Then found out the collector's edition was only $3. I'm not sure which version I really ended up with because the title screen said "collectors edition", but had my old profile and would just replay the intro no matter what I pressed. Redownloaded and worked fine until I stopped the game. Downloaded one more time and played straight through without an issue. But after completing the bonus chapter it will not let me start a new game again, just replays the ending. Frustrating, but good game otherwise.

This had the potential to be a game I could really get into and enjoy. The 3rd time I finished playing it I was in the 2nd or 3rd room of the house, the room with the picture of a sick lady in bed, I got out of the game and only 2hrs later when I tried to enter the game I found that the intro was on a repetitive loop. I'd press playon the menu screen and the next screen says .BIG FISH. the next screen says 'GOGii' then it takes you through a series of shots of different doors and such and after about 5-10 seconds of that and I was back to the menu screen. I got fed up and deleted the game

I have purchased Big Fish games in the past and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I recently made the mistake of purchasing a similar game by G5. While Big Fish is generous with hints, time, and little, if ANY in-app purchases, the game from G5 is nearly impossible to play without spending money. You can spend quite a bit of money without even realizing it because they make it seem like support h a great deal. So, I highly recommend sticking with Big Fish. You can set the game to the degree of difficulty of your choosing, the back stories are intriguing, and there are few in-app costs (at least not that I have found). So save some money (the complete game can be purchased for $2.99) and enjoy the game without having to open your wallet continually.

well, this was an interesting game, although we have seen something exactly like it before. As usual the graphics were absolutely amazing. The concept was good. Story was good. I gave four stars because the print or words within the game were way too small and I had much difficultly trying to read it. Also, I found that the "hint" button was not much help and there was zero help in the bonus round.

I've gotten several Big Fish hidden objects games. All of them have been challenging and fun. The graphics are superb. The stories keep you interested without being lengthy. The game doesn't lag either. It's nice that the hints are detailed without being intrusive. My only complaint with this particular game is it didn't have a map like some of the others do.

Shame, shame, SHAME on you Big Fish/Gogii games!! You change the name a little, you change the picture a little and you find a way to scam LOYAL customers like myself into purchasing the SAME FREAKING GAME TWICE!!! This isn't the first time you've done this, this is becoming more and more frequent. How do you get away with this?? I enjoyed the game THE FIRST TIME I PAID FOR IT, but that point is moot now that I know you are rehashing old games, mostly the Gogii games, under a *slightly* different name. Ugh! REALLY disappointed..

Good stuff -
Great graphics
LOVED the unique feature of traveling back and forth in time most specifically how it was handled
There were no doofy complement-out-context games within game
Soundtrack was an improvement over the monotonous so-called music that too many games rely on
One of the coolest features of the game was the sign at the top of the room saying "area cleared" after you had completed all tasks for that area

Needs improvement -
Searches, while relevant for the most part, were somewhat simplistic
All writings within the game were too tiny for my Kindle Fire - with 20/20 I had to strain to read them
A map would have been a nice addition
